  1. Blacky, as long as you tell just cars (or whoever) that you have this then your insurance will be fine. it is programmable but only one place can do it here and its expensive. and you will need a tune when the car arrives, so you will have to ditch the fcon and get a powerfc or something. reason for this is that you dont know what its been tuned for. example: a mate and myself imported modified 32s at almost the same time. his arrived running very lean and mine arrived running very rich. also our fuel is crap compared to the japs so have to be more conservative. so all in all, sorry to burst your bubble but you will have to spend more $$ and possibly a bit depending on whats wrong. thats basically what happens when you import a modified car. i learnt the hard way, cause i had to go way over budget to get my car where it is and its still going 1.5 years later... next time just buy a stocker
  2. looks good, just not a fan of the black wheels. dont see the point in buying good wheels if you cant even see them
  3. there's no way he would have a 5inch exhaust. he has obviously just measured the tip. sounds like most of the ads in the trading post. fully sick 5inch exhaust mate...
  4. when i imported my car through prestige the on-the-road cost was almost exactly what geoff had predicted. and that included some extra bs when i had to rush to beat the May 7 cut-off.
  5. Fark off. im sick of this shit. go buy one of these then genius. then wait and see how long it takes, and how much tax and duty you have to pay. ive bought one of these before and i know what i paid and how long i waited. so keep your unsupported ideas to yourself. unit sold pending payment.
  6. ive used a company called Simon National. but they didnt pick up. cost only $50 to send a cat-back from melb to perth.
  7. its the front of the R33 that lets it down. thats why someone would want the the 34 front. But i agree its bullshit trying to make something that you havent got.
  8. it seems that it doesnt matter how much i lower the price for this, there's always someone trying to offer less. maybe mr know-it-all here could tell us where he is planning on getting one for $800. its not going to happen.
  9. you'll be spending more on engine swaps and all the shit associated with them than its worth. by the time you can afford all that you could get a 32gtr, then sell that and save and get a 33gtr. so buy the time you start this process you will be experienced by driving an excel for many years.
  10. need to add... AE86 cars (sprinter, etc): been around for ages, but now that everyone says there cool i want to buy and one and become a drifter. (same for onevias, sil80's, etc) Commodore with steel 16s on the back: Drift is sick and i love getting sidways coming out of a corner and doing circle work in every carpark i can find.
  11. potential buyer has not replied so its still for sale at $1100
  12. i sold mine for 750 with 215 tyres. but they are worth even a little more than that.
  13. ive got a buyer at 1100, so if no-one is willing to offer more than that, then it will be sold in the next couple of days.
  14. ive got a second hand Power FC for the RB20DET. It is in very good to excellent condition, in its original box with instructions, etc. (in Jap). This does not include the hand controller. In Melbourne $1100 0407 344 555
  15. it is very quiet but very high flowing at the same time. Nigels supra has this exhaust and he gained 30rwkw when he changed from a twin 2.5. and we all know that his car is HIGH powered. i have this with full exhaust on a rb20 and a friend has it just cat back on a 33. mines quiet, and his is very quiet.
  16. people waiting should find how much it costs to move the car to another dock. mine was moved from kobe to osaka (although i dont think it is all that far) for an extra 10,000yen.
  17. DCIEVE: he said he wanted it to bolt straight on. so that would mean it would have to fit on the std manifold. so the turbos that are high mount would not work for him.
  18. a/m ecu may cost more but it does have a resale value.
  19. i dont know the details, but this has been asked many times and the response is always just to buy a rb25det.
  20. didnt even notice them. but now i see them, they look wierd. wonder how it would look with both lights replaced rather than just the parkers (?)
