  1. Well I did a bit of research on the Blitz NUR Spec R... and it was looking real good until I looked closely at the photos of the Cannon.... and the tip is angled!!! Call me fussy but personally I cant stand angled tips Right now the HKS looks the goods...

  3. I thought the Trust system would have acutally been a little louder... It has a slightly larger diameter pipe... ? I guess I am focussed on those 2 due to my R33 having a HKS exhaust on it ( and a trust dump I think ) and it just sounded special... I am trying to relive my past

  5. Hi Guys, Ideally in the future I would like to upgrade our exhausts (money permitting ) I have narrowed it to these ones... I would like other peoples opinions on which they would choose and why The first one I am looking at (and is my preferred for some reason ) The power extreme II from trust. http://www.nengun.com/trust-greddy/power-extreme-ii And the alternative... The HKS Hi Power Exhaust. http://www.nengun.com/hks/high-power-exhaust Being guilty of wanting it all I suppose I am looking for the exhaust that is going to give the best power increase, give the best sounding note and also look the best... eventually I would like to angle the muffler once I have changed my rear bar (is going to require an additional bend) but wildkats would just stay straight I would imagine....   8. Yeah the air bottle hire and HPA station would have to be the go for me... I wouldnt even dare run my marker on CO2... I dont think it would like it very much
  9. Do they have any sort of air refill station for refills??? I have all my own gear expect the the air bottle which I usually borrow from Xtreme (where I usually play) Hmm and know that I have written this I may as well have posted this at Bills as I visit there occasionally anyways...
  10. If it has been converted to a manual over in japan I wouldnt touch it personally... To comply the car in australia the car must be as it came from the factory... that would mean you would have to convert the car back to an automatic, comply the vehicle, then convert it back to a manual again... even is you are willing to pay the costs of someone pulling out all the associated gear twice there is no guarentee that it will still pass inspection.... But I am far from an expert on importing... best speak to an import broker and get their opinion on the situation I guess... but if you have your heart set on a manual perhaps its better looking for a series 2 type 'S'... Can I take a guess and ask if this stagea you have seen is blue perhaps? I am guessing I know the one you are talking about...

  15. Actually I would say he was lucky he wasnt wearing his belt He was lucky to drop out the car at the right time... Imagine the injuries of being strapped into that catapulted seat that went 10 metres in the air Although that being said I would put my money down that it would work out the same way a second time
  16. I think you will find when a car is classified as commercial instead of private you are legally allowed to black out all windows behind the driver 100% ... This is why you see the vans windows all painted over or boarded up
  17. Depends on what you are looking for I suppose.... To me the first mod should be a full turbo back exhaust with high flow cat... I reckon thats your best bang for buck upgrade... and if I ever have spare money its what I would do first to my car
  18. Well what it appears to me is that when the throttle is pushed (only in drive, not park) the voltage appears to drop across that wire... thus the Fm Converter doesnt have the power to work... Its the strangest thing I have seen in all my years of backyard auto electrics
  19. *Shrugs shoulders* Meh it had 12V on it when turned to accesories so I used it... Have to admit though I am not sure what the purpose of a wire coming from the radio that varies its voltage as the accelerator is pushed for.... never the less... I redid it and used another wire... problem solved
  20. Problem solved... I reconnected the 12V source for the FM converter to another wire that supplies 12V when the accessories are turned on... All seems to work now... Still cant explain why it wasnt working before... but main thing is it works now Cheers for the help...
  21. Thanks for the reply... As far as I know shouldnt it be connected to the accessories wire??? That way it only powers the converter when the car is turned on??? How does that explain though why the converter only work when you are cruising??? :confused: I think from memory it was the yellow with red trace wire that I connected it too...
  22. Hi Guys, Quick question... I will be trying to fault find this tomorrow but I thought I would ask for suggestions... I recently installed one of those 10Mhz FM Radio Convertors into our Stagea... I thought it was all working okies until today... First I should point out the car is an automatic... the FM convertor work all the time when the car is in "park"... the problem is when you put the car in drive it still works until you put your foot on the accelerator then it turns off... although in park its fine.... I dont think its a short otherwise it shouldnt work at all... Its strange but its like there isnt enough power under load???? Suggestions???
  23. Hazzzah my car is now famous!!! I think the dual pod holder that replaces the clock is probably more angled towards the driver then the pics show... well at least when I sat in the drivers seat and was looking at the pod it didnt feel like it was pointing away from me to much...
  24. This is wildcat here using hubbys account opps.. Have to disagree with a few comments made....changing suspension back to stock isnt hard for compliance i went through that with mine..and its not bad at all..you either borrow some or you hire it for the compliance not that bloody hard at all Everything else i agree Yes would be a pain in the ass but if someone loves it that much then good luck to them...looks like a very fancy car and to me does look like something special...i would LOVE to be an owner of 34GTR front.....i also love this white one..if i didnt have my baby i would be very interested in it
