  1. +1 if ur going for some spirited driving, well surely ull have some time to warm down until u get to ur house, or to the next place u stop. turbo timers really arnt that helpful, and only cause issues with alarms and SAPOL.
  2. mm it is a good idea, ull find exhaust technology already do a similar system, they use stock exhaust systems off cars they have done in the past, they charge around $100 i think, meaning u drive in there, take off ur exhaust (which is kind of a deposit i guess as usually its worth more than a stock exhaust system) put the stocky on, go through regency, take the stocky off, put ur original exhaust back on, drive out. now need to double check on that price, but if u could do it a fair bit cheaper than that then im sure u could get some interest.
  3. just as a side note, to get the castor rods on and off (mainly on) sometimes u will need wedge something in the wheel arch and lever the wheel one way to get the bolts to line up, depends what castor ur running.
  4. yeh ive been using this site for a while now, good site.
  5. standard offset is around +45 i beleive and the width is around 6" if u wanted to go 235 u should go at least a +30 offset imo, otherwise ur pushing it close to the upper control arm in the 32.
  6. the question is, do u really need to go 10 or 10.5? depends what tire u want to run, but theres no point trying to fit a bigger wheel under if ur not going to use the extra width. u should be able to get a 10" wheel under, and probably a 10.5" but unfortunately i dont know what the inner clearance is like for the 34 gtt, to fit a 10.5" where u wanted the 9.5's to sit ur probably going to go up near the +50 offset mark, or if ur willing to give ur guards a roll and stretch the tire a bit u could go for a +35ish offset, either way ur not going to have much inner clearance for anything that u might knock under there.
  7. oh, the metal bit... my money is on the upper control arms, need to know the offset and width of the wheel tho.
  8. pm sent
  9. haha soft, at least u have air con pretty sure if my little rb20 can do 10 laps of drift in a row on a 37+ degree day and not even go above op temp ur 26 can deal with a bit of cruising lol. im thinking i could buy some KY in bulk and make a killing selling it at the meet points.
  10. theres plenty of wantanabe copies out there, more liely than not these are just a copy.
  11. just updated the tires, now have some near new continentals, would be great for some steer tires.
  12. ^^+1 my offer for the pirellis only lasts until sunday
  13. which part?
  14. pointy bits ftw!
  15. LIMITED OFFER: if someone buys these soon, ill throw on some near new continental sportcontact tires, now for people that dont know, these are $400ea tires i think, 225/45's on the front wheels (17x8.5) and 245/40's on the rears wheels (17x9.5), all for only $900!! the tires are worth more than that by themselves!! get in quick before i sell the tires separately
  16. ^^can i just ask what about the original lights do u like more?
  17. yeh mate, although theres been quite a bit of interest in them for obvious reasons, few people are looking at buying them for wheels they are receiving soon, but no one has put the cash down for them yet so they are still up for grabs.
  18. gotta get in quick, tires are flying out the door  just picked up some pirelli PZero 225/45 R17's, near new condition, only looking for $150 for the pair, if you want to read up on them this might be handy: http://www.tirerack.com/tires/tires.jsp?ti...tireModel=PZero from what i can see they retail for around US$250ea, so what, thats up near AU$300ish? also says they were introduced as an OE tire for lambos, ferraris, the R8 all them, so must be a pretty decent tire. heres some pics i took of them: would be perfect for the front, or even the rear i guess but i wouldnt wanna burn up such nice tires better get in quick though, i already have a bit of interest in them, and im thinking i might just chuck them on the front and use them myself
  19. usually i wouldnt interrupt someone elses for sale thread but since this isnt really one i may as well but heres what ive got in the way of tires: 5x Pairs of 215/45 R17 - Bridgestone Potenza RE050 - between 4-5mm tread with some camber wear - $40-$60 depending on which pair 1x Pair of 225/45 R17 - Bridgestone Potenza RE070 - about 2mm tread, very sticky, stiff sidewalls, handles high temps, basically a road legal semi-slick - $50 1x Pair of 225/45 R17 - Pirelli PZero - near new condition, awesome sports tire, PM me for more info on them - $150 1x Pair of 225/45 R17 - Continental ContactSport II - near new condition, awesome and expensive sports tire - $150 1x Single 235/45 R17 - Bridgestone Potenza RE050A - about 4mm tread, camber wear - $10 1x Pair of 245/45 R17 - Continental ContactSport II - near new condition, awesome and expensive sports tire - $150 1x Pair of 255/45 R17 - Dunlop Sport 9000 - about 5mm tread - $80 1x Pair of 215/45 R18 - Potenzas if i remember correctly - 2-3mm tread, rip in tread around the side, but afaik it doesnt leak - $10 all located near Mitcham in SA i might also point out that some people have already put their name down for at least some of them as obviously with drift school next weekend ive had quite a few demands for certain tires which ive tried to get, although until they are out of my hands ive kept them up. most are still up for grabs though.
  20. ok, ive revised it then for u ted, this time it is guarenteed.
  21. yeh, to clean them use a sand blaster and a few cans of spray paint, will make the wheels like 100 times better guaranteed
  22. dude, its a race car, not a show car.
  23. GTR =
  24. like no offence, but if u ever even tried to compared ur car with this ud just be wasting ur time. f**king nice peice of work, but gotta say the price tag on it does seem a bit steep, even with the history behind it imo.
