cheers guys, I have a set of GTR injectors to go in and GTR fuel rail with reg... that might sort it out. Is good to see it isn't just me -
After installing a bosch 040 in my R32, when I go to start it I have to turn it on, wait for the lines to prime and then tap the acelerator pedal when turning it over. If I just go straight for the start, it either takes a while (turns over and over and over) and then runs at a low idle until it gets more fuel and picks back up... The car runs fine and has been tuned by Dr Drift since the install and had no issues... I have just been letting it prime and giving it a pump and putting up with it but thought I would ask to see if anyone else has this issue... NOTE* It has only done it since the bosch install a few months ago Cheers!

Thanks for that! Can someone give me a list of what it 'could be' best and worst case so I know what to check? If it was the pump failing, would I know about it if they were genuine readings? -

It is an R32 GTS-t... It just seems a bit odd that it has happened 200k's into a new instrument cluster... And did you mean your engine died after having loose bolts? (hence all the work...) -

Hey Guys, I am having an issue with my Oil Gauge and just wanted some thoughts / suggestions. I have put in a new cluster because I screwed my old one up by pulling off the needles. After putting it in I check and everything looked to be OK (Oil pressue reads just below 4 - half way) but after looking down last night and seeing it sitting just about 0, I thought oh crap (but everything was running perfectly!!) I checked it out when I got home and there are no leaks and the oil level is fine. I started it up this morning and up to 4 it went, all looked good and took off for work. 10-20k's later I look down with it in mind and it is once again around 0... hmmm, about 5 mins later it is back near 4! (This is making me think that it is a dodgy gauge because I am guessing I would notice a difference between the two pressure levels - am I right??) Pretty much the same deal on the way home! I have just replaced the turbo with an R34 turbo and have done the timing belt / water pump... I am putting it down to a dodgy gauge however I thought it would be a good idea to post to make sure it is not something obvious / severly wrong!!! Any suggestions or advice would be MUCH appreciated! Thanks, Todd

Well I just got screwed on a set of taped up coils and my car is still sitting there!! Appreciate the offer Ben but I would obviously perfer to buy some! PLEASE HELP IF YOU JUST HAVE SOME SITTING THERE YOU COULD SELL ME! IT HAS BEEN OFF THE ROAD A MONTH NEARLY! (in which time I fitted a new turbo and did my timing belt ect but still!!) Hi Guys, I am thinking about upgrading my notebook (being an IT guy and all...) and thought I would see if there is any interest in my current one. It is an ASUS M5200N in pearl or as most say IPOD white. It is a tiny little Notebook (the smallest practical one I could find). I have had it for 12 months and have had no problems with it at all! IT STILL HAS ABOUT 12 MONTHS FACTORY WARRANTY!! I will post pics of actual item if there is genuine interest however here are some of the same model. Specs include: - 1.35kg (STUPIDLY LIGHT!) - Intel Centrino M 1.7GHz - 512MB DDR 333 PC2700 - 60GB Hard Drive - 3-Cell + 6-Cell Battery packs - Integrated Intel Centrino BG2200 802.11b/g Wireless LAN - DVD/RW Drive - 12.1" TFT Screen - Windows XP Pro Happy to answer questions but please do a little research yourself first if it isn't condition specific. I paid $3300 12 months ago, I am only looking at about $1200 for it... Comes with a couple of cases and a protective sleve... (plus a little mouse and probably some other stuff) I am happy to load it up with 'trial' copies of software like anti virus and office if wanted and will give it a full rebuid. Hey B, I would really appreciate that if you are sure! (I will do the removing and refitting of course!!) I am 95% sure that is what it is but if it is something else then it would be worth while the hours or 2 of testing!

Ha, well you won't want anything at my work if you don't want to have to shoot yourself... admin work is pretty boaring and the IT dept it all full getting sick of that too though! (there could be an opening soonish... shhhhhh ) I can't wait for a retune!!!! All I need now are coilpacks, AFM and injector resistor pack!

yeah, heat shield + cold air intake! I agree, a little hot air is better than not enought air, espesially when you have a FMIC and it will be cooled anyway! cops are pretty soft on mods down here... just hard on dickhead drivers!

oh, and I just fitted an aftermarket dump pipe to my car tonight!! (ordered it off Justin 'XRATED') goes well but won't be able to feel the full potential of it until I get new coils (sh*ts itself past 4g's!)

is that he synthetic stuff?? I think I am running motul 10w 50??? pretty thick, I will be doing a filter and oil change in the next couple of weeks myself! I'll check my plugs when I swap my coils over too...

what kind of work are you after B? Sux to hear about the car, I hope (as I am sure you do too) to see it on the road soon! I send the D.O.C and email but didn't get a reply yet! Am I right when I hear he may be back down soon and could possibly do a tune or two?

hey mate, yeah I am pretty sure it is the coil packs... It has happened a few times now and each time I tried a different meathod of repair. 1. Placing nitto tape over them to cover the cracks (not that I could see any) - Fixed for about 2 weeks 2. Painted with resin - fixed for about 2 months 3. Painted with areldite - fixed for the last 4 or so months I had to problem one other time after GMB borrowed my ignighter to troubleshoot and must not have connected it back up corrctly but once I reconnected the plugs it went perfectly! I have tried this again and it is not the problem... it happens all of a sudden and then doesn't go away until I fix. Mind you my car has been around the block a few times so it could do with some with a few less km's! Also, now that I have repaired them (band aid fixed) so many times they are now a few mm bigger so unless I sand them back, I can't really do it again... (might do it anyway once I get new ones just for spares!) Thanks for the offer of the red top ones, I will holla if I need them!
