    ..... James... that's not really all that impressive (if at all) from a 6.8L stroker with "diamond" pistons, so therefore it does not a point make. I've driven a VS commy with a 383(6.3L) that was pumping out 360rwkw (well over 400hp).

    I'll be up for this as I'll be at operabar in the arvo, and Lowenbrau is a casual walk away. I remember last dinner at Lowenbrau I was there without knowing the SAU dinner was there Anyways.. In for Lowenbrau (sauerkraut and Schitzel, yummmmm!!!) EDIT: and of course... Beer unt liebschen(sp?)

    Hey guys. It looks like I'm 50:50 to attend. Shit has hit the fan at work, and if it doesn't get sorted out, I'll have to come in on Sunday. Do my best to sort out things here, however a lot of it is dependent on other people doing long shifts. Probably put me down as a no, but I may show up if everything goes to plan. I'd hate to miss this Sometimes it sux to be the boss

    went and saw him today. Checked out the AC system... my dump pipe rubs against the evaporator pipe and has melted a hole clean through. Need to leave the car with him for a few hours to let things cool down, and he'll make up a new pipe to go around the dump pipe. didn't charge me for anythig today.. champion

    Also have a look that your water pump isn't leaking/throwing coolant at your fan belt, which would make it squeal. Hope it isn't as it can be a considerable job.

    mate, they're more likely to do you for the visible mods (zorst, fmic, unenclosed pod) than the boost levels or a well placed bleed valve

    Sounds like coilpacks. if you have stock items, they may be getting on and cracking. There's a really good deal in the For Sale section on Splitfires too.
