  15. ^chill out mitch, They are your neighbours...go in your room and play with your lego or something. 1.06 is the size of the rear housing on that specific turbo. A 1.06 rear on an rb25 will see boost far too late in the rev range. Your best option is to swap it for a .82 with an internal gate or .63 with an external gate to spool the turbo a bit earlier making use of the turbo on an upopened motor. By all means try it and it will still go fairly well, but you will pull it off later when you realise it's too laggy. A swap over rear housing from MTQ will set you back about 500-600 bucks.. Save yourself the pain and do it before you put it on.
  16. looks like a GT3540 off an XR6...what rear housing you gonna use or should i say...are you gonna use the 1.06 rear?
  17. Im pretty sure i got that already..hehe EDIT: but i'd rather be driving my own.
  18. +1 And the clutches aren't cheap to buy or fit.
  19. I've got tx3_90's service tomorrow, busy wednesday but after than any time mate....just gimme a day's notice.
  20. My situation is complicated at the moment, I've got an adapter plate for a 38mm wastegate but i'm starting to think the 38mm gate isn't going to be big enough. So im currently looking around at either another manifold to suit a bigger gate or mod my manifold...or bite the bullet and get the 38mm gate and take the risk. The lower you want to run the boost the larger you want the wastegate to be. Judging on my mate's setup with the same turbo i will need a bigger gate.
  21. haha good mate n u....yea might go clean the car tonight! hehe. let me know if you still want that timing belt done mate.
  22. my calculations was 14.5mm difference. EDIT: just like dale's post hehe
