  4. went and sought some advice from a trusted and experienced skyline specialist in melbourne they are doumbfounded as well by the noise it is making....BUT they did notice quite a strong dint in the oil sump. They are thinking that the knock may have been hard enough to damage the sender = lack of oil to head, this is backed up by the fack my motul 300v has bubbles in it, any thoughts people?? im getting real nervous
  5. oil level looks fine, i have started getting the problem after i put in an oil cooler?? Could the oil cooler take away too much oil and starve the head of oil?
  6. Probably stick with $400, but sms me if you dont find any and ill see how much it costs to take off the tyres
  7. very pset atm, it seems that my lifters are getting flat spots they are very noisy!!! My car doesnt even have 100k on it yet! Has any one ever had worn out lifters on their 34? If so what is the most inexpensive path to take? Also my coil packs are gone and now my clutch is going!!!!!

  9. I have my track rims and tyres for sale. TYRES FRONT ; Bridgestone RE55s Type SR 215/45/r17 REAR ; Falken AZENIS 235/45Z R17 These would have 4-5 track days on a mild car. Good enough to drive on the road though if you want to. one of the rear rims has about 10cm of noticeable gutter rash. One of the fronts has a little gutter rash not that noticeable, the others are good with only a couple of scratches. Wheels and tyres have been balanced 1 track day ago by Race and Rally tyre service i can post rims about $100 anywhere in Aus. Looking for $800 ono. Just the semis will be $400ono , Just the Rims $400 ono David 0400552259 Doncaster pics up later today
  10. r34 with basic boltons, i dont know what clutch is on it atm. I have taken the car to two trackdays and never any issues. last night i took a sweeping right turn up a hill in third and WOT, and revs started going up but the tyres wernt spinning. So i thought obvious clutch is gone. I then testes by dumping in first with a hard gear change to second, BUT clutch grabbed fine. What is problem??

  12. centerline wanted $500 to install the front rear bushes and the hicas joints, does this seem right?
  13. got re55 on the stock rims, got track day pads and motul 600. so i need rotors once these pads are gone, and get some hoses then the bushes.
  14. did a search on this topic but i must be looking for the wrong thing because i didnt come up with much. Problem is my bushes are worn out to replace the parts alone it is $200. Can i avoid doing this, is there a way to lock out the hicas but also removing the need for the ball joints? Or does it get too expensive?
  15. i looked on ebay couldnt find much. any good sources for a good price on the adjustable superpro or whiteline bushes?
  16. i got a quote for superpro bushes it was 650 for front and rear does camber and castor. got pineapples done already. oil the good oil etc, im using qfm but still need discs ill research the busshes more. cheers
  17. i have now done all the basic mods on my 34, intercooler, oil cooler, full exhaust hiflow cat, air intake. The suspension (bilstein hieght adjustable with unknown springs) in the car atm is very hard and the rebound is very jerky on the street but good for the track. i can deal with it for the time. Now im up to the next stage. I went to centerline and they said i should do all my camber and castor bushes. but i also could go for a nistune or i could go for BC coilovers. My question is what will make the car better for the track - camber/castor bushes ($1000), BC coilovers ($1200) or nistune ($750). Problem i can only go for one of these atm. WHICH ONE!!!!!!!?????
  18. is the cat a direct bolt on to the r34 gtt? thanks if so please pm me

  20. here is the link to ebay to save me retyping, they are not showroom condition, there are two small scrathes, one on each they are on the top and are not visible once you actually mount them on the lights. i have polished them up real nicely with swirl remover. enjoy. http://cgi.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi...me=STRK:MESE:IT
  21. i bought a couple of these and then built them at work. i tested them in my r34. works a treat. really easy to set up and requires no extra parts, because you use the standard solenoid. BOOST COMES ON SO QUICK! Hold on to your panties girls. To buy this from autospeed premade would cost $420. get it from me for $250 including postage. dave.
