  1. A few of you may remember the cruise we had for a very close friend and motoring enthusiast from Mandurah who died a while ago. Well, it's 1 year on and we're cruising in memory of Ash once again. All are welcome to come along and celebrate his memory. WHEN: Saturday 14th April TIME: 10am WHERE: Mandurah Senior College carpark. Rouse Rd Mandurah We'll be heading north from Mandurah as usual except we'll be taking quite a different route than other cruises we've had. For those north of the river, I urge you to make the trip down for the first meet point as there's going to be some great roads and driving to be had in the first half of the cruise. We'll cruise through the city then back to Mandurah to finish at the Brighton carpark on the Mandurah foreshore. If anyone would like further details, please PM me. Thanks guys! Hope to see you there. Deano
  2. It's a real tough time of day and day in particular to find places big enough to hold the amount of cars we're expecting. I've made the First SOR meet point at Woodman Pt carpark. Where: Woodman Pt Carpark: Nyyerbup Cir off Cockburn Rd (2 nasty speed bumps need to be taken with care) When: Should be around the 12 mid-day mark. If you really want to be sure you make it, come join us from mandurah!!! For the people that still think this is too far south, we'll be at Kings Park around 1ish. Hope to see everyone there... Deano
  3. Really appreciate this Dan, however, due to things needing to be attended to for Ash's funeral/wake, alot of people would be unable to attend if we held it this weekend, so we have to hold it on the 30th with a 10am meet for a 10:30am depart. Appologies for the miscommunication. Deano
  4. I urge everyone to attend the RIP MR MEANER Cruise... details are in the thread below.. Deano
  5. Hi guys, A few of you came on the Get Well MR MEANER cruise we had a few weeks ago. Unofortunately Ash was unable to recover from injuries sustained from his car accident and passed away this morning. Gordon (Pres: STAR Crew), and everyone involved thankyou many times over for attending that cruise and supporting him/them when they needed it. I ask you once again, to please cruise with us, to celebrate Ash's life. When: Sunday 30th April, 10am meet for a 10:30am departure. Where: Nero's Carpark, Mandurah Forum: Cnr of Pinjarra Rd and Bypass Rd. Same as the Get Well cruise, I'll organise a second meet point somewhere South of the River for people who can't be assed driving to Mandurah for the initial meet. We expect and hope this to be massive. Please repost this in any and all car/motorsport forums. We welcome EVERYONE!!! I'm expecting a fairly long cruise. From around lunch time till late arvo. We'll probably be heading on to a pub or meeting up later on for a few pre-wake drinks in memory of this top guy. More details to come Deano
  6. Hi guys. Some of you may already know, Ash (white r33: MR MEANER) had a fairly serious accident and wrote off his skyline in quite spectacular circumstances last week. His mother and other family have had to take quite a bit of time off work to be at the hospital to support him and Gordon (STAR Crew President) thought it'd be a good idea to run a fundraising "Get Well MR MEANER" Cruise... Where: -Nero's Carpark Mandurah: Corner of Pinjarra and Bypass Rd Mandurah. for those too lazy to come to Mandurah, I'm having the second meet point at Capt Munchies carpark in Freo. When: 11:15am meet, 11:30am leave from Mandurah (got around 50ish people already coming from mandurah as well as more to come)... Arrive Fremantle: 12:30, depart 1pm... We ask for a donation of $10 minimum per car load... each person would even be more appreciated. But we do leave it up to you guys as to what you want to donate. We'll be cruising past the hospital (Sir Charles Gardiner) that Ash as in at some point too as well as a little cruise round Kings Park/Coastal area... More info to come... Thanks in advance to anyone who can make it Deano
  7. *salute* I'm actually looking at some second hand ones at the moment. He doesn't know what he wants for them, I don't know what they're worth. Just enquiring on prices at the moment. If this falls through I'll get back to ya... But while I'm at it, you got any gearbox mounts/cross member? R32 preferred Deano
  8. Hey guys, Looking to buy the above products. They are second hand in good condition. How much do these sorts of things go for? My guess was around $50-$100 Anyone purchased some recently? Looking for private buy prices not wreckers? Or if some one bought some from the wreckers, just divide by 3 and it'll be about the same Deano

  11. STAR Crew are holding a Dyno Day!!! We need a minimum of 20 cars for this to go ahead. Just today we've got 12 definates, so there's no reason why this won't be going ahead :yeah: When: Sunday 11th of December Where: Peter Dutton Automotive 8 Rafferty Rd Mandurah WA, 6210 Map Who: STAR Crew invites ALL cars along to join us. Cost: For members of STAR CREW, or previous members of Mandurah Nissan Club, cost is $35 for 2 runs. For others attending, cost is $40 for 2 runs. Or club President Gordon has told me Jeff is bringing the C-Red S15 down, and we have a couple of other big guns lined up as well. :yeah: This is one of the last events we'll be having this year, but have paintballing, go-karting, bbq cruises etc lined up for the new year. PM me or contact Gordon on: 0431580600 for more details or to sign up. Deano

  15. Didn't see the other thread, but this is the workings of Brett from PSI performance from memory. Was actually going to grab the 25 that came out of this. The owner had the GENIII in an ss ute previously, had the 33 and decided to join the two so I was told... I really like the idea. Can't go past the feel of the turbo though. It's not really a "which would you prefer" thing though. Both would be a blast to own/drive... Deano
