  2. No doubt this will be too late (sorry of the grid all day today work system updates No Net Connection D'OH) But I would have been keen to catch up with a fellow skyline enthusiest. Most disappointing no one else could catch up Maybe next time
  3. Had the exact same fault last night in my car. Threatened to not start this mornig but did go so being the lazy unadventuruos type I took it straight to the auto-electricain. Turns out it was the alternator worn bushes or some such thing. Alternator to be serviced no major dilemma or cost. Hopefully it's nothing more sinister in your case.
  4. I'll definately be there with wife and kids Fairly certain Ian will be along in his Supra too
  5. Yeah replaced a shirt hose down near the starter motor apprx 4" long. Old one had a small hole. Quick check of sensors etc flushed radiator, refilled, pressure tested, removed resevoir, emptied, cleaned, refilled. Done. Running at normal temperature so far so good.
  6. What an interesting day. Attendances: Myself (32 GTS-t), Ian & Matt (Supra), Ben & Luke (32 GT-R) Enjoyable drive not too much traffic , bite to to eat at lunch time. Heading home after an enjoyable day when disaster struck My 32 had cooked itself at Holwell Halfway between Frankford and Beaconsfield Much steam from under the hood and temperature guage through the roof After a cool down period we managed to Limp in to Beaconsfield but pulled the pin as the temperature had come up again. So faced with the prospect of a costly and/or time consuming tow back to Launceston I was extremely surprised and grateful for the offer from Ben & Luke to head back into town and return with a trailer to get my baby home. I cannot thank them enough for all the trouble they went to considering we'd only met earlier that day. So a BIG THANKS to Ben & Luke for all there help and patience when dealing with the the traffic leaving the football @ York Park. Early indications are a leaking bypass hose near the starter motor hopefully nothing more sininster than that. But all in all still an enjoyable day.
  7. Unfortunately these things happen. Not just you who can't make it. Thanks for letting me know. Always next time.
  8. Absolutely! just wouldn't happen. If that was you that pulled up behind me at the lights down the bottom end of york st last night, sorry it took me so long to acknowledge you. I was in a world of my own.
  9. Cheers Stew Always good to have you along. Might be a good chance to run her in Gently.

  14. All in all a poor turnout considering the weather on the day. Many Thanks to Stew and Jason and passengers for an enjoyable drive none the less. Yes Ian did eventually turn around and come back we then finished the cruise as intended. Remind us to make sure his navigator isn't so hung over next time!!! Speaking of newt time keep checking in as I imagine another cruise is on the cards early in the new year. Cheers Shane.
  15. Hi all, Due to my inability to read calenders properly. The cruise has changed from Sunday 3rd to SATURDAY the 2nd All other details stay the same Sorry for any inconvenience
  16. Was only playing the time frame by ear at this stage, but there are plenty of places you can cut straight back to Launie if it's getting close to 2. If we can get away on time we should be close to home by 2 anyway without having to set any land speed records.
  17. Will be going for a cruise Sunday 3rd Decmber. Please Note now changed to Saturday 2nd Leaving Launceston (Sea Port Car-Park) 9:30am Cruise through to Scottsdale and back up to Bridport.
