[3.5'' Exhaust For R33 Gtr - Wanted !]

I want a 3.5 system right through from turbos to tailpipe including hi-flo cat .

Anyone have a second hand one or know where to get one.

I bought my R33 GTR from AJM recently,

I think I got a good deal however I did have to threaten to sue them when they wanted to cancel before i picked the car up. ( probably because they had a better offer )

When i picked the car up the $400 per tire yoka's on the back were bald.

Gee I wonder how that happened .........

Also the gearbox had automatic transmission fluid in it to mask some kind of problem but it seems ok now.

Loving the car now tho

I dont think you can fix it, i think you just have to put up with it,

do you have redline synthetics in yours ???

I just changed the oils in my r33 gtr to redline synthetics and the gearbox is alot smoother however I am now getting a clunking noise in reverse that is amplified by this oil. I have been told the noise is normal though but it is anoying.

Would recomend it though as it was stiff through the gears before and had a it of a whirring sound coming from the drivetrain that has significantly been reduced.

BNR34 Getrag 6MT gear box (Nissan list price is aorund 458000YEN)

Nismo propeller shaft (part no: 37300-rr595) 95000yen

Clutch for BNR34

Set of Final gear (or you can use BNR32's 4.111)

will cost u about 10k fitted?

Hmm sometimes, they can never garantee it though, best bet is to get it painted professionally then they are responsible for the blending/matching of the paint...

the article said they got more kw's but nothing about economy or if it was safe.

If i could get better economy, same power and it not hurt the car I would install a computer just so I could make it work.

not sure what diff squatt is but its pretty loud and clunky.

Saw an article in HPI where they got an extra30kw by running ethanol blend but had to change the mixtures and fiddle with it to get it right. (car was a modded r32 gtr i think from memory)

My gtr is Standard so cant fiddle with it i dont think. but if economy or performace is better just running premium ethanol ill change.

I just bought the full system muffler 3' stainless today. Just finish install, it is a second hand Apexi, it cost me $530, and $20 for polish scream, after 1 hour polishing, it looks new, price is very cheap, isn't it? yeah  i think cheapest and best way for exhausts nowadays  is to get a custom built one    is generally cheaper than japanese brands  and if the size is ok  is just as good

Recently replaced all fluids in my R33 GTR with Redline Synthetic and since then a lound crunching sound is coming from the trans when reversing at low speed on lock.

Mechanic and redline assure me this is normal and is called " DIFF CHATTER " or ' clutch chatter '.

Want to know if anyone else has had any experience with this ??

Just got a 96 GTR and my mechanic has recomended first point for upgrade to wack a 3.5'' exhaust right through.

Wondering what is Legal and How do I find out what the legal limits are in QLD.

Also he rekons it will add about 40 rwkw , does anyone have any experience with this ??
