  1. Excellent condition, 4 rims and tires of a r33 gtr. Positioned in Brisbane, they are what I believe the best looking rims for a GTR, $4000 new, and $240 dollars a tire new. Selling the package $2800 ono. contact Steve 0432 057 692
  2. please remove this post. i have posted it in the correct area now
  3. possibly selling with car or seperately. Make me an offer if your interested. regards Stephen Burford 0432 057 692 [email protected]
  4. 96 series II, awesome condition, inside is like new, body work is probably the straightest skyline i have seen. every mechanic that has looked at it comments on how neat it is underneath and how healthy it is. plates '96 GTR' can be sold with the car or seperately. including plates $34,500 just had timing belt fitted, new pads with disks machined, full service, has quality alarm fitted with turbo timer and remote central locking, Nismo 400r wheels, falken 451 265's, king springs, and runs beauifully. I look after this car like its a baby, reluctantly selling to move to UK, it took me a long time to find this car. Have used car as daily driver since i bought it with 78k on the clock, regularly serviced and currently has 102 on it. contact me on 0432 057 692 or email [email protected] Stephen Burford
  5. yeah man, im always about, i drive every day as a rep and play in a band on weekends, I was probably on my way to play at gilhooleys that night ( second gear is the name of the band ). sb..
  6. Thanks mate, thats pretty awesome. I think maybe a little too expensive for me but good to have a look. sb..
  7. I recently bought a 96 series II and I would say buy as later model as you can, I found a big difference between the brakes on the95's to the 96 series 2's but it could have just been the 5 that i drove. also Vspec additions have quite a few differences, water cooled diff and gearbox 10mm lower and some other bits i think. There are tons of mechanics that can coach you through the best mods for daily driving. I am also interested in this as I drive mine every day also and am soon going to start modding. Issue 56 of HPI has a good article on a GTR built for reliability but nothing too crazy providing 361kw at all four with twin turbo setup and only about 15k spent on it. Anyhow they are a great car, lots of fun and very tough so your pretty safe. sb..
  8. Ill have a look, If anyone finds a power graph post us a link. sb..
  9. Read the article a HPI archive edition (52 it think) RBlack 34 with lots of mods that privide low down grunt and 650hp suited for daily driver. Sounds very interesting indeed however no power curve was shown, HKS' variable valve timing on the car aparantly coupled with the added volume is providing this increased drivability. Does anyone know anything about this car? and havs anyone seen a dyno sheet from this car. I am very interested in pricing similar mods to obtain this result. sb..
  10. This has probably been asked before many a time. But, I am trying organise me and some friends to come to one of these track days and they are all asking me about insurance, costs licences etc. please can someone confirm the following Insurance does not cover you if you crash on the track ? you do not need a Cams liscence ? its somehting like $110 for the day. sb..

  13. mine has a cut out at 180 or just above and its a 96 seriesII GTR. sb..
  14. My gearbox is fine now that i have redline right through. BUT now there is ( what the redline rep calls ) diff chatter. a clunking sound like the cogs arent quite reaching when crawling slowly in first or reverse with the steering turned. Has anyone an explanation to this or similar problems as it is very noticable in my GTR?
  15. Who out there knows what the top speed of a GTR is without the limiter. any model. Or if you have done a speed test of your car what was it and what mods do you have done ( RWKW & aeodynamic would suffice ) sb..
  16. I have also heard that the turbos provide enough backpressure. but would not the increase in boost pressure create more chance of something going wrong with the engine.
  17. thanks guys, just wanted to make sure, dont really need the extra performance although it would be nice, just thought it would be better to improve the economy and dont want it to blow up on me. i drive the GTR for work every so i put alot of miles on it. thanks for the info.
  18. I am aware that fitting say a 3.5 inch exaust and airfilters to my stock GTR will increase power, and most likely fuel economy.. however will this increase in power be potentially damaging to the engine or is it just a good thing all round.
  19. so in short.. increased flow with better clearance. so there is a reason. what if your turbos WERE sequentially staged, would there not be greater benefit to running completley seperate systems? because from a pressure point of view if one turbo is reacting first would that not create an increase in pressure behind that turbo and where the pipes join create back pressure for the second turbo ???
  20. well if you have to add a cross-over what exactly is the benefit to running a twin exhaust? would one large pipe not do the same ?
  21. One One pipe or One Twin pipe system. what exactly do you have ?
  22. oh yes! its a GTR, took it for a couple of hot laps around the block just to make sure, he he. No i dont think they are sequential. wish you could just throw one on to see what it sounds like.
  23. Do you still have the exhaust, and what would be your taking price? you can send photos, and details to [email protected] if you still have it. also dont want to break height or noise limits... ? sb..
