  3. i know im not F*ckn getting a Engineerers cert, but what are my options? and whats this OPI????? the guy explains that if i get into a crash the intercooler may interfere with air bag protocals, i guess he means my air bags may not be functional. any ideas wat i can dO? cuz the po po is telln me to get a cert, and vic roads is following what he says like howard follows bush... man this is 2 defects in like 2 weeks

  5. so while im driving along this fine afternoon im pulled over by the red and blues. standard engine check, licence, address confirmation ect ect, then he goes back to his car. im sittn there thinkn all is good until he comes back to my car and issues me a defect saying i need to get my cars intercooler checked for Air Bag safety protocals. im like wtf do u mean protocals theres nothing wrong with it. the policemen explains that unless he sees a engineers cert saying the cooler is legal my car is defectable. is this true? outta no where slaps a defect on me and asks for a engineeers cert to clear the defect for a cooler about some Air Bag protocals. bumped into the guy around hallam so if u got a FMIC stay away lol.

  8. yeh the r34 gtt is rated around 150-160rwkw STOCK!!! the cars are awsome and respond great to mods highly recommended

  10. yeh its a heavy mofo but gives me traction LOL, and Vic raods rkn my car weighs 1300 wat bs my mates rego says his 91 accord weighs 1400, and i agree, id much rather low to mid range torque over tops speed!!!

  18. i know what he said but the FORD GT and MONARO is 297kws at the FLYWHEEL WHICH IS ABOUT 250 at the REAR WHEEL its still a 33 mate like i said dont bother arguing, and like i said just above, 297 at the flywheel is aorund 250 at the rear wheels
  19. of course ill use it for drift track and strip use defiently!!!! but obviously it isnt the main thing i managed a 12.9 down the 1/4 and was very impressed no i havnt drivn a 300kw car but ive driven a 280kw. i know what your trying to say but ill handle it, many disagree but ill guess ill have to prove em wrong, when i signed up on this forum asking how much i could get a r34 gtt for, everyone laughed at me and said keep dreaming, well im here today with a r34 thats got over 220rwkw and im preety proud. u may think that but its still a 33 to me ive actually got a 10grand sound system with full neon setup, wider guards, full Do Luck R34 GTR Body Kit, ive got Silver Volk GTC as rims, and this is why im aiming for my next step, big power.....im after the whole package and uve got a GTR man 4WD man thats pwnage, thats another reason why i want the 300kw, just so keep up with the AWDs, i know ill slowly gain on them but, with the 18x10 tyres ive got now, it just makes everything that much better you should research more a FOrd GT has over 290Kws at the flywheel and the HSV monaro has 297KW at the Flywheel, althoguh thats preety amazing you wasted all those cars congrats, respect but id be much happier with 300kw, i know what all u guys are saying but its a personal choice, and ai goal i wanna achieve. im glad to see alot of ppl are starting to take me a lil more seriously on this forum, its hard bein 18 with a r34 on a forum full of older enthusiasts

  21. u got a good point their and i totally agree with you, but thats not really gonna stop me from getting 300kws, and im sort on money as it is, if i highflow, later on down the track ill have to buy ANOTHER turbo and manifords ect ect. blitz ur not that funni i was gonna settle for 250 but 2 mates of mine just bought a Ford GT and the other a HSV Monaro, and they all pumpin 250 stock, i know its a stupid thing but i always wanted to reach a point where very lil have( i know there are lots but not as much as 250s, another reason why i got the r34 gtt instead of a 32/33gtr just wanna be unique, i also want my car featured in magz, dont think ill get anywhere with 250, theres alot more reasons but i cant think off the top of my head. i know all u older guys are over the whole show and shine crap but man being 18, im sure u know how i feel. but dont start thinkin im gonna be rockn up to noble park maccas and doing doies or anything, im not like dat

  23. i always thouught of maybe buying a whole new engine and doing a engine swap, makes sense and might actually be cheaper, but like i said, i hate that whole engine surgery crap

  25. im not to fused bout turbo size i know what im after, its just all the screwing around for everything to keep up with the turbo. its a hard job but im gonna give it a go. how long will the car last with stock internals with 300rwkw. if possible id rather slap the turbo on now with the fuel pump and injectors, and when i get enough money put in the pistons, rods, ect will it do alot of dmg or anything if im running 300kws with stock internals
