  1. Are the r32 sunroof's pop up ones? I have a 32 that is being imported and can see the sunroof in pics.. but how does it open, pop up or slide?
  2. Martin Donnan says your wrong about bigger injectors not making a difference.. Have a read in the last fast fours.. He pretty much says the spray is harder to control.. therefore more fuel is used..
  3. HKS SSQV and Apparantly the Blitz SSQV as well..
  4. Uncles Porsche Cayenne 4wd gets about 30l per 100kms.. its a twin turbo v8 though with 260kw..
  5. Does your mate have a photocopier? Lol.. Cheers for your input mate!
  6. Cheers guys.. So what are the legalities with a RB20 >> RB25 swap? will engineers need to be called in?
  7. The importer is a family friend.. he wont sell me a shit car.. He has been looking at cars for six months for me. These are the final two.. Yeah im not really keen on the RB20 either but im not fussed. As for being popular.. they have died off in Adelaide.. A31 Cefiro's seem to be the new rage..
  8. Hey guys.. Im down to two cars now.. In two weeks both cars arrive and they are both mint condition. Now here are my options. r32 or r33 both white, manual, and turbs with low kms. Im assured by my importer that this is the best r32 that they have ever brought in.. so im leaning towards the 32 because it will possibly be cheaper and more mods.. *buy the 32 and mod it *buy the 33 and keep it mainly stock. What I want to know from you guys is how much potential there is with the RB20? Or if its worth just gettin the 33 so i can have the larger displacement engine.. Keeping in mind i want to take the car through the hills.. Which will handle better stock and possibly with coil overs. I know its hard to compare but Im stuck.. I love the shape of the 32.. but the bigger power of the RB25DET is what catches my eyes.. Alternatively If i do get the R32.. how hard would it be to convert to RB25?? Any feedback appreciated. Michael.
  9. Unfortunately.. theres one problem with sharing the workload.. who do you trust to do the work.. I have learned.. 1. Handle all monies yourself - your less likely to spend the money. 2. Make sure all events are passed by an admin/leader. They are two of my rules.. which help me run the club.
  10. Theres a guy called "Exhaust Wizard" in Willaston (near Gawler) does cheap systems, and quality is rather good. In and out in 2 hours..
  11. Thanks for your kind words - I realise your not just talking about iNFMS but about PSi also. To show how serious we are about running the club professionally we are in the process of aquiring a CAMS licence. This means our members can go out on the track and not have to worry about injuring themselves and living with injury. Another reason is when we hold events we get insurance in case something unexpected happens. As for the boy racer side of things.. there will always be idiots.. you cant stop them.. you can only tell them whether they are welcome or not. Keep this in mind when setting your club up, and don't be put off if people do rock up to a meet and act like idiots. You can't control them, only guide them. Either way. It would be good to see more clubs take off. A skyline club would give some form of comradery between any skyline driver.
  12. Both the SR20 and RB25DET use side feed injectors.. Read: http://www.meggala.com/injectors.htm
  13. My bad.. well its uploaded anywho..
  14. Clipsal.. is that a switch or something.. jks..
  15. I run a club (iNFMS) and by gosh it is a headache sometimes.. those that do the work are forgotten and people take for granted the hard work that goes into the club. If this goes ahead the best of luck is wished. I love the import scene, but there seems to be a fair bit of bitching in it. Move the bitching aside and we are all one happy family. Goodluck. Michael

  20. Cheers bud. Im loyal to my importer as he is a friend of a friend.. Im really not that fussed about the $$ So long as i pick up an extremely clean example. Trouble with type x's are they r rare as because they only came out 96-98 with the kits. Still sellin for a dime in japan!
  21. Through an importer mate.. Here in SA. Keep missing out on 33's now.. after initally wanting a Type X 180sx. Oh well keep bidding and ill find one i guess.. Pretty much everything on your mod list i want.. bar the n1 coils.. i think ill go TEINS, maybe SARD 550ci injectors and hybrid FMIC/GTR even.
  22. Lol not me.. I just want to win an auction on a damn 33.. then my licence back.. May 23 and were rolling! Im on here to pick up a few tips/tricks before i get it. 224.7kw that would be nice and lively in the hills i bet.. what other mods do you have? 2 Way LSD? Coils?
  23. I dont know if this applies to turbo cars, but when we ran in my uncles monaro (series iv) we constantly sped up and slowed down as to bed the rings in. Thats the GENIII for ya tho.
  24. Thats a nice power figure.. a nice curve too! Obviously happy with the output for now?
