Do I have this right? Because next year is 2008 does this mean the 1993 skylines will not have to pay for compliance (or not pay as much)? Does this mean that this year model skyline will become a lot cheaper? (Saving compliance $3-4000?) Does this mean that the ass end will fall out of the used skyline market for those that are already here? Have I missed previous posts about this? Am I remotely close with any of my questions?

that was just to get rezz's attention just got speed magazine and on the fron tcover they have the phrase "twin-turbo v8 GTR?" (although they go on to say its just a V35 that top secret did up and called it a GTR) before this the magazine then goes on to talk about keyboard warriors being faceless criminals it just feels like they trying to rub your nose in this.

okay i remember reading that post where the speed guy said that the next issue of speed would explain why the next skyline would be a V8 so i kept an eye out for this and on page 14 it talks about top secret building their own V8 V35 GTR just because a workshop builds a V8 GTR does not mean that it is "the next" skyline surely this cant be what they were talking about? and if so i think they need to apologise to REZZ sorry if this has been talked about but i havent been here in a while :headspin:

with a manual gear knob you can buy an aftermarket one and just screw it on provided it has the same thread i was jus wondering with automatic cars can you buy an aftermarket one and replace the standard shifter? is it do-able or not?

how can you tell if a car has ABS without driving it?

do any of these importers assure you that your car is running and in working order. For example what happens if you get your car off the ship and it doesnt even drive? has anyone heard of this happening before?

there was a section writen up in the DRIVE newspaper section about odo tampering and apparently there is a mob in New Zealand that can check digital speedo cars and tell if it is accurate because there is about 5 places in a cars electrical system that stores the odo information apart from the odo at the end of the article they were saying that they were in the process of coming into the australian market for grey imports.
