Does anyone have a R33 gearbox they wanna sell for reasonbly cheap? I need one

took it to my mates shop today, we had a good look, there is no suport bars holding the bar in place!!! just this black glue(cant remember what its called) thats come lose!!! its startin on the other side. its a 400r bar so it hasnt bn installed properly anyway car is goin there monday morning to have the suport bars installed and all set up nice a flush again i sold him the wreck of my other line dirt as so hopefully hes gonna hook me up with some for free stylez ps its a 400r front bar

yeah im thinking im gonna have to take it to a mate of mine whos a panel beater, it dose jiggle around now, i can actually fit my fingers in the gap now so its growing bigger by the day!!! :

yeah i cleaned them till they could be cleaned no more, didnt miss as much but still one big one at bout 5k, and i checked my coils so i dont think its them... thinkin maybe the safc isnt tuned for 12psi and maybe goin r&r??? ohwell, off to the shop for their opion i guess *opens wallet and moth flies out* :

do you think that those plugs not bn listed for this engine could be a problem???

Iv just taken my plugs out and found they are "PFR6A-11" which at the start of thred says they are good for RB25NEO and Rb20/26 but not RB25DET?? Im having a miss firing prob under 12psi(no prob ta 10) so tryin to re-gap them, but founf that according that my conversion(online- mm inot inches, only tool for this i have) is gaped at .6! is this any good for RB25? would a to small gap cause this prob??? Iv already had a go at silicone my coils(S1 33) ad have safc 2 installed... any thought gents??

anyone know much about this? when it comes to body parts im pretty clueless. but my front bar has slowly moving away from my head lights where there is now bout 2cm gap under the light and the top of the bar, and i can just giggle it with my had.... anyone with any tips on how to fix this/make it more rigid??

well seein as i was told this just 3 days ago search!!! lol i had the same prob, thought it was coils, but yes 33 stock ecu sucks... had a safc2 installed and it has fixed my probs pfc or safc would fix this prob i think, but theres alot more knowledgeable ppl on here that could go further in depth about it.... or a 2min search

problem solved!!! nova performance newcastle did the install and tune today, cars running much better now and faster just noticed under load there is no knock reading but reads upto 2-5 at idle after a squirt... is this normal?? other than that its like driving a new car

arrgh dont say that! lol... my other 33 had a link ecu(useless pos) already installed so i never had to go thru that, will know tomorrow... hope this safc2 is a good as i hear :

2min on teh search told me that it could be teh coils, wanted to know if it applied to 33s. just did the coil diy fix tonight, took it for a spin, had to big missfires and still doin it as before. goin ot have teh safc2 installed and tuned tomorrow, hopefully fix the prob, if not gona grab my old coils from my other 33... hope this fixes the prob...

since i got my new car last week, i havnt really had a chance to give it a good run till tonight. I noticed that there is a missfire/flat spot high in the rev range between 5350ish to 6200 rpm then kicks back in at full tilt. this is 2nd and 3rd. its like a surging feeling... power stops, slowly builds revs then bang back with full power. also after this i noticed it miss firing under all load right thru the rev range under load (10 & 12psi) did a search and found some things about the coils and spark plugs but not sure if it all applies to a S1 rb25. mods are fmic, full 3", duel stage boost, kn panel, fuel pump and heavy duty clutch. I have a S-AFC to install yet. would this be able to point out the problem? or maybe a tune via this could fix? car was supposedly tuned before and made high 190rwkws... my old one made 193 and this feels a lill faster untill this happens any thoughts guys?

yeah i read that, wasnt sure if that was my problem(like someone else reciently) this is my only major concern with this car, like i said had a map sensor so never had a stalling issue with my other one

hey guys, did a search but looking for some more answers... car is running fmic, turbosmart 5050 amto plub back bov, 3" turbo back, stock ecu... car stalled at a set of lights after bout 5-10mins of a bit of a hard drive(test drive) then once again at another set of lights... and then a few "almost stalls" when slowing down(throttle blip saved the embarressment) im looking at buying this car and am worried bout the price of fixes for these problems...(and i do need a car soon ) 1. Fuel pump, read bout the pulsing siginal to it and hard wireing to fix problem... how much for a new fuel pump, plus install price(rough, thinking walbro, bosch) 2. Injectors?? all up price of replacing them, and what ones to look at, thinking 550cc. 3. Bov is 50-50, could this be the issue?? never had a prob on my old 33 and atmo bov, but i ran a link ecu with a map sensor, so afm wasnt an issue... could a bad afm be the problem? perhaps the bov still slightly open when stoped at lights be the deal? 4. Could a stock ecu re-set just fix this problem??? PFC will be next mod but not for a while anything else im missing? i know alot of its bn covered, but any advice and help would be muchly appreicated...

well as se of the newy guys know, my car was written off last week(long strong) and in the market, went to look at one today. Didnt get to drive it as guy parked it in his building and was parked in by 3 other cars... but when i started it heard a strange whurring sound comming from the turbo while it was cold. kinda of like the sound of a ufo hovering in a tv show(stupid i know lol) It stopped when i revved it abit but came back when setteled to idle... and once it had warmed up stopped. I suspect maybe bearings on the way out or shaft play??? any ideas cos im seriously looking at this car and its the only thing holding me back

im with just cars... $1750 full comp 22yo driver with no "no claim bonus" all mods covered, 2k excess... never heard any probs with them... hoping that continues cos im makeing a claim! lol good dam lancer drivers
