I am rebuilding an rb30 and i live in Canada so no machine shop has ever seen one and i need the stock clearances for the engine so i can get it bored out.. you guys can probably just go the any parts store and buy the manual that would have all the info for rebuilding the thing. so if anyone has a specs sheet that would be vary helpful.

  4. well i did a compression test (i did half the engen yesterday and was was putting it off you guys are right number 5 is 100 and all the rest where 150 to 155psi. well thanks for the help i guess i just got a bad engine to start with look sliek i will be down for 6 more mounths.... anyone have an rb30 bottem end sitting around they do not want
  5. well as far as i know it is not an rb25de to det i do have a swaped turbo on it thoght it is a t3/t4 57 trip only runnign like 9 psi right now i guess it could be a tired engen but a hole letar in one run down the track. I was talking to some nissan buddys at the track and thay think that to much oil is comming out to be the rings and it does not blow any smock out the exhaust.
  6. so i just finshed swaping an rb25det in to my r32 it was running good for a few days then something whent on it now pukes tuns of oil threw the pcv I know what your thinkig my rings are gone here is the thing in 1 1/4 mile pass i can pul threw 1l of oil in to a catch can. it seems like it is some how bumping boost in to the crank case. I am running a standlone microtech and the idal air is not conected to any controller

  9. I noticed you guys have a a 1/4 miles thred with a link to a page with all the info but that does not seem to work. I am wondering if there is a new link to that page. or if anyone rembered what the quickes 2L powered skyline ran. I have a 90 gtst stock loug block with lots of bolt ons I have run 12.4 and just wondering what that best anyone has ever hird of with just bold ons my gole for this comming sesion is 11.9
  10. posted this at SDU but no one ancered me so figgered i would see if you guys new anything on the topic I have an 90 gtst and i resent bought a new intercooler and am going to put it in this weekend. my brother is a welder and he will be helping me we got to talking how we are going to run the piping and it crossed my mind that we could mod the intake manifold to have the tb on the front i have seen its before and i was just wondering if there is anything special i should know there is a bunch of stuff there is it just a matter of relocate it? allso unrelated to the intake I was wondering what woudl be a good turbo upgrade I don`t have to have huge turbo lage abit is okay (the only motersport I do at the time is drag) but i would like to get 300rwhp and not have to run 25psi to do it i have lowered my list to two Garrett T3 Super 60 Compressor: Trim: 60 A/R: 0.42 Turbine: Trim: 68 A/R: 0.48 Corrected Air Flow: 33 lbs/min Wastegate: Internal or Garrett T3/T4 50 Trim Compressor: Trim: 50 A/R: 0.60 Available Options: Turbine Housing A/R: A/R: 0.48 or 0.62 Corrected Air Flow: 46 lbs/min Wastegate: External Reply With Quote
