  1. spark plugs are copper and been in there for about 15,000k, i had irridium but the guys who dyno tuned the power fc said the spark was getting blown out so they replaced n gapped with copper and i also dropped in spitfire coil packs

    the fuel pump is a tomei for a gtr, not a nismo, sorry!!

    i have checked the fuel filter its clean, as is the regulator (no moisture in the vac line)

    i didnt drive the car today, but i took it for a 15min drive and it was running perfect

    so im gonna pull out the fuel pump n check the power wires and fuel pick up sponge thingo

    just on another note, i cleaned my airflow meter and i noticed a lot of thick greasy oily crap in the inlet pipe after afm around the bov entry is that normal or related to my problem?

    Get some CRC contact cleaner and give it a good spray to clean it up. Will only improve things. Could be related.

  2. Btw that group pic you see was one of our hangouts at Cabramatta. Thats only half of the group. The other shy half didnt want to take pics. That was a great night. After that we went to Eastern Creek Go Carts.

    We had regulars like Andrew(Merli) and Tosh and Nick(Blitz) and many others come from the northside.

    When we were younger and had times on our hands and when the law didnt clamp down too hard on our cars.

  3. And then I changed my name to DR GTR after owning a R33 GTR. Had the TeamWestside club as you can see from the pics. We had cruises and meetups every weekend for about two years. Best times.

    Oh boy. Times have changed though. I wish the new guys here got to experience those golden years we had.

    Remember Gang wars too? Thats was awesome. Took us through many work hours.

  4. Sounds like your TPS is faulty> I had this on my R33 GTR. Same thing. The light will come on shortly after I start the car. If I Kept driving it wont come on.

    If I stopped and idle abit . Boom. on. Changed the TPS after hooking up the NIssan consult.

Hey guyz, i just got my car a few days back and i now want to resolve some of the problems with it... the 1st thing is i wanted to know how many o2 sensors are there on my R34 GTT and where can i find it, since i find my fuel economy pretty low so i wanted to get them changed.. Where can i get an o2 sensor for my R34 i live in Melbourne..[ Does anyone have a pic of where the o2 sensor is located in a R34]

    The 2nd thing is this may sound noobish but.. how many spark plugs are there in a R34, and why do ppl sell 6 together?? And where can i find a 0.88mm spark plug as my tuner said that my car maybe missfiring bcuz of the spark plug..

    Your economy could be bad definately from a bad o2 sensor. It sits on the dump pipe after the turbo. you can see it. 3 wires coming out of it.

    6 plugs because your car has 6 cylinders. 1 plug per cylinder. You can buy any plugs from any autospares shop. Pre gapped to that spec

  6. pretty sure its more of an emergency fan, IE if it gets hotter than a set temp it will kick in.

    The aircon wouldnt need it, see the MASSIVE clutch fan sitting there? :mrt: put your hand infront of the radiator when the cars inside and feel how much air rushes past your hand heh

    guy is right. I remember waaaaaaay back when we had this discussion. That fan will only kick in if things get heated. More so in summer. In winter you will not see it on.
