RB30 without a doubt is a better base to start off with if you want a power house. Like i said before i wouldnt swap the RB26 for a 30 if my gt-r was going to be a mildly modified daily. Ive stroked my 26 to a 28 due to going big single otherwise i would had stayed with the 26 if i were going to keep the twins. All the money you would need to spend on a 26/30 could be spent on other areas of the car likes brakes/wheels/suspension etc.

Hey mate, interested in the dogbox + clutch and kaaz diff's. What are the specs on the diff's? 1way 1.5way etc and are the gear ratios stock in the gearbox? thanks.

I assume your the guy i met today at Barry's? Stef's father yes? Im sticking with manual as driving pleasure is more important to me than outright speed. Im not decided on the gearbox yet. I will prob go ppg 5 or 6speed (34r) box.

Well James's supra whos engine was built by Barry and tuned by Cihan aka Etuner has broken the record for a top speed run in 800m. He hit 300+ 3 times, highest run being 308km/h.

Very interesting. Wonder how a 51R/62R SPL would run on this kind of engine setup.

Results like this give me confidence that i will make well over 600kw if nothing goes wrong.

Ive known Barry (Owner) and his crew for a long time and i can vouch for these guys. I thought such honesty amongst mechanics was extinct. He recently finished building my Nitto RB28 bottom end.

Jap Devs are failing big time with new gen consoles. First it was the legendary Winning Eleven aka PES to be overtaken by FIFA now FORZA has overtaken GT. GT5 was absolutely shit! I returned the game back within 30mins of purchasing it. Lets hope GT6 is alot better. I wish we had Forza on PC !

IMO, theres no point in going 28 or 30 unless you plan to run huge power.

I might get it for PC then if it has recovered from its previous 3-4 games.

I played Winning Eleven aka PES religiously until the end of PS2 since then its never been the same..
