  1. thanks, but when i tested the car about a week ago it didn't feel as bad as it does now. i might bleed the system and see if that makes any difference.
  2. first you need to measure the clearance between the pins and small end bushes in the rods. make sure all the pins are the same size and check all the rods for clearance. if thats all ok, the piston issue is probably just small burrs where the pin goes through. u can either use a file and sandpaper, or a small hone like you would use for a brake master cylinder. the pins should push through the pistons with ease, if you have to tap/press them there is something wrong.
  3. i've bought an r33 with an aftermarket clutch installed (not sure exactly what type/brand but feels like a soft button clutch) anyway, the friction point is really close to the top, but the clutch never slips at all. i want to try and adjust it but if you adjust it at the pedal end, how would that make the friction point go down towards the floor? wouldn't it stay the same but the pedal height would be higher? anyone got any suggestions?
  4. well i fixed mine, took the headlight out. put the lens side in boiling water to le the condensation evaporate and come out the light holes. then used a hair dryer to get the rest, and finally sealed up the headlight and put it back in
  5. count me in, i'll get one when geoff has them in stock
  6. c'mon guys, someone must know how to get these lens covers off. i really need to fix this condensation problem by tuesday so i can get it registered.
  7. hi, does anyone know how to remove the lens cover off the headlight assembly on an r33 series II. there are three clips on top, not sure about the bottom but it is very tight to try and pry appart. must be more to it
  8. ok, thanks alot guys. i bought the car anyway, i'm picking it up next week. i will try the carpark trick and see how i go. either way the diff is better than std so i'm happy.
  9. hi, i went to test drive an r33 gtst today and when driving it, there was a really slight locking of the wheels when turning a tight corner. not as voilent as a locker, but you can feel it. the guy said it had an aftermarket diff in it.....what do you guys think it could be?
