Does everyone know that the 20 Z tunes were built from 2nd hand R34 GTR's purchased by NISMO totally stripped and rebuilt?

The only problem i had fitting my rear aprons was the rear support which was obviously in the wrong spot, after cutting it away was only half an hour job with speed file and some sand paper to get it to fit, no fibreglassing was required. All fibreglass kits need to be pre-fitted before painting to guarantee a good fit.

I understand your concerns with getting a C/F bonnet transported, the beauty with this sale was that i was able to see that it was A1 before i handed over my hard earned. Why are'nt you happy with your alloy bonnet, is it damaged or are you trying to save some more weight?

As i said, divide the average aftermaket price by 3.

Yeah, could'nt believe my luck when i won the auction, i was'nt actually looking for a GTR bonnet but as a new one would have cost three times that amount retail it was a bargain especially as it was brand new and had never been fitted and pickup was only 20 mins away.

Because i brought the bonnet at a good price, it looks hot and gives it a custom look.

I'm using the factory fitted front bar (as shown in first post) but you can also use the Nissan Aero front bar as you can buy a front mole for that bar aswell. The ultimate front bar for this setup is the East Bear GTR version as it fits non GTR's without changing front gaurds. (shown below).

Is that all it would cost, i assumed it would cost an arm and a leg, had been trying to find a GTR that was wrecking. Thanks, will call them tomorrow.

Hi everyone, I'm fitting a GTR bonnet to my R34 GT-X skyline, i have a pair of conversion hinges and top mole (nose) on order. Can anyone tell me what needs to be done to the cars lock mechanism so that i can retain the catch on my new bonnet? If you have done this your help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Here's a pic of my car (still waiting for lip spoiler) with the aerial up, funny cos i had always thought it was an aerial for the sat/nav set up that my car has. Looks cool at night as there is a blue light on top which illuminates when you turn your lights on. I believe that they are factory style driving lights on the bumper. Can anyone confirm this? Note my car has Xenon headlights with auto setting (turn on by themselves at night).

That is a Hella brake light, cost around $70. Can work as tail and brake or just brake.

Can promise all an awsome day, only $15 per skiier for the day ( she's a thirsty girl ), spectators and boat rides are free. If you've never been in a ski boat before 300hp on the water is an just the best. Give me a good opportunity to catch up with you guys and your machines.

Thinking of organising a cruise to Lake Narracan (Moe) for a day of skiing, wakeboarding and biscuit riding. Would need at least ten people to make it worthwhile, if there are more i can organise more boats. But only if there is enough interest shown. Beginners welcome.
