  4. Just an update. Now the xenon part of the headlights is completely busted, the middle part of the headlight. I know i can take it to an auto electrician but does anyone know of any place that deals with genuine xenon lights for skylines? Or should i go to a nissan dealer whom will most likely charge an arm and a leg.... Does anyone know whether it could be the bulb or the gas unit? Regards
  5. Hi guys, My left xenon light seems to be busted, though I'm not sure. It's lost the bright white light and is emitting a rather dull purple light. Can anyone shed some light on this matter? Is it busted or is some cable disconnected? If it's busted where can i get it fixed (I'm in Sydney) and is it expensive? Any help will be appreciated. Thanks. Regards
  6. This problem has only arisen recently. When I decide to give it a hit and rip it in 1st gear the car pulls then when it reaches high revs it just cuts off and jerks. All the other gears are fine. I dont think its my boost cut off because even though im still running the stock ECU i have an hks ebc and its set well below 14psi which is the cut off. Can anyone tell me what the problem could be? Any help will be greatly appreciated.
  7. Hi guys, Can someone tell me what the problem could be? When I rip the 34gtt, 1st and 2nd are sweet but as i put it into 3rd and once it reaches 5000 the revs drop down to 4700 and then it lags and struggles to climb back up and once it passes 5000 its normal again... I am losing power at this point and would like to know where the problem lies? can someone please help me? Any advice would be greatly appreciated, thank you.

Hi guys, The problem that i face is that when i drive my car normally (cruising) and when i gear into 4th its absolutely fine and sweet, but as i rip the car and go at high speeds, all the gears go in fine except for 4th. It feels crunchy when i try to put in in 4th, as if there is a minor resistance. This never use to happen and only occured just today. Can anybody tell me what the problem could be? I've been told that makybe i just need to replace the gearbox oil... Note: there is no power loss in 4th gear though, so i think.... Any help will be greatly appreciated. Regards
  10. The original wires of the r34 gt-t are : RED WHITE RED The replacement nissan 02 sensor was : BLACK WHITE BLACK So I wired it as follows: Red > Black White > White Red > Black Reset my ecu. There has been no improvement in fuel economy, have i done something wrong or could this mean that the problem isn't the 02 sensor?

  15. Hi guys, Lately I have been hearing a clicking/chirping noise coming from my engine bay. I went to one mechanic and i was told that it was the sound of injectors and that it was loud cause i had a cf bonnet with vents. I wasnt satisfied so i went to another mechanic and they told me that the noise was coming from either the gearbox or the clutch. I went under the car and the noise is definately coming from either the gearbox or the clutch. Ever since that noise rocked up I have noticed loss in power in my gears especially first gear, which seems to lag very much now. The mechanic took my car for a drive and says that my clutch is slipping but still he says hes not sure whether its a bearing in the clutch or the gearbox. I just would like any advice or opinions from you guys? What do you think the problem is? The clutch is an exceedy heavy duty clutch and is about 6 months old. I learnt how to drive manual with that clutch so there was alot of riding of the clutch, only for a few weeks though. The gearbox is an r33 gearbox but i dont know of its true condition as i purchased it from a wrecker to do my manual conversion. (It originally had a twin plate clutch with it though...) Any help will be appreciated. Thanks
  16. Hi guys, I was just wondering whether it is necessary to reset the ecu after changing the 02 sensor? I have a SAFC onboard and its been tuned and im just worried that i might need to reset the ecu and if so will that effect my tuning? Thanks guys.
