  6. Heres a couple of turbo's ive had lying around due to the projects that they were meant for never eventuated. Ive decided to part with them now as im in need of the money to buy an engine. All these turbo's were built for me by Turbo Australia and are being sold by me to recoup some of the money i have spent on them. item 1: garrett ball bearing GT25 turbo, same as jap spec S15 silvia turbo. condition: brand new covers with reconditioned core info: .60 comp cover, .64 internall gated turbine housing. Great for 1.6 and 1.8 ltr engines price: $700 Pics: Item 2: Garrett GT3571 Standard bearing turbo (Garrett part #452134-0002) Item Condition: perfect, never used. Info: 52mm compwheel, .50 a/r comp cover, 4 inch inlet, oil cooled bearing housing, 60mm turbine wheel, .94 extenally gated turbine housing, 4 bolt outlet, T3 flange, split pulse. great for high hp 2-3ltr engines. Price: $800 ono Pics: Item 3: Garrett GT2876R ball bearing turbo Item condition: Brand new never used, has been sitting for quite a while so there is a bit of surface rust on the turbine housing, but it has been oiled regularly so it is in as new condition (appart from the surface rust on the turbine housing) Info: .70 A/R comp cover with a 52trim comp wheel, . 86 A/R internally gated turbine housing with a 48trim turbine wheel. watercooled centre housing and T25 flange. Rated at 440HP. And although its not shown in the Photo's, the actuator and mounting bracket are included. good for high HP sr20 setups. Price: $1000 Pics: Item 4: T3/T4 turbo to suit RB20DET Item condition: This turbo has been completely rebuilt including new bearings and seals, completely cleaned and dynamic balanced. It is in pefect condition Info: .60 VL comp cover modified on the outlet to suit nissan intercooler plumbing. VL watercooled core, RB25det turbine housing (internally gated) RB25det actuator. This turbo was built for a mate who needed a little more power from his RB20DET, but he sold the car and im left with the turbo. i need it gone as im desperate for cash.   8. there are no dyno Graphs as yet but we are hoping to get some more feedback from a few customers that have recently fitted them. i know what the website has as far as pricing goes but i miss typed it for this post so it is for sale for $1925 including GST. this turbo has been highflowed, and garrett ball bearing cores do not have thrust bearings of any kind as the journal bearing are angular contact ball bearings.
  9. this turbo was built by turbo Australia and is the smallest of the upgrades that they perform. they do the same thing for the other stages but use a larger core for more HP, they go as high as 550HP for $2090. the one im selling is for a pretty much stock engine and is desighned to be a direct fit replacement for the stock ceramic turbo. due to garretts ball bearing desighn, and the use of a steel wheel, gives these turbo's the ability to get onto boost as quickly as the factory setup but the steel wheel lets you screw more boost out of them. so in fact it is a much better unit than the factory item. also, the reason they call it the 350hp upgrade is beacause it uses a 350HP garrett core, just in case you didnt know.

  12. what do you guys think of putting a SB8032, 440hp Garrett ball bearing core into the stock RB25 turbo covers? ive used it and gotten good results, just wonderin what other people thought of the idea.
  13. yeah the .63 would probably be the better choice, gives better low end grunt. all the .82 would do is lag your combo out, unless you also go the bigger comp wheel as was stated earlier by R31Nismoid. all you really need to get more potential from your turbo is cam work, forget about a larger A/R turbine.
  14. send it to turbo australia, they graft a complete garrett ball bearing core into the stock covers. makes easy power with buggerall lag and you get a brand new core rather than one of those rebuilt cores that gcg sells. costs around $1500 but for what you get its worth it.
