Im sorry guys, i searched heaps but haven't found answers for all of my questions...So here goes: Series 2 r33, im pretty sure R33 GTR REAR guards can be put on there without too much trouble ? Now the front...how hard would it be to put on 33 GTR FRONT guards (or make a fiberglass copy of) and modify it to suit the series 2 bonnet/lights ? I know some1 will straight away say just get after market vented fenders its much easier...maybe so, but i dont really like the vented look and they somehow none dont look nearly as fat (especially around the front lights) as the GTR guards... And the thirda qustion...how much am i looking at for the whole conversion ? Or rear guards alone at least ? Thanks in advance !

Can i just also add that depending on what setup you are going, and really want a after market ECU, i think Haltech is the best bang for buck. Has a lot of tuning options Aussie product (therefore lots of support) Plenty of supporting Hlatech products (map sensors, boost cntr. kits, dashboards etc etc) Turbs 13 (spelling ?) on here with 32 GTR went from PFC to Haltech and he said he would never go back. Haltech E11v2 is their top of the range ecu and its around 2G new.

I cant comment because i have never seen it or used it, but i would think that a boost controller is a boost controller...there cant be TOO MUCH difference. Just make sure it has a MAP sensor as it will hold boost better

Too much ignition DVD boys PFC is good, no doubt, but now its getting old and there are a lot better ECUs out there. As for remaps being tight ass, it goes back to what i said before, all depends who tunes it and what software. *edit* and 1 of the reasons its cheaper is because it takes way less to tune it because you already have base maps to work with where as PFC u have to do everything from scratch as far as i know....i wouldnt want a noob tuner to set everything up for me from scratch thats for sure

Nissan didnt spend crap loads of money and time on R&D on the ECU for nothing ECU is sweet...having some1 to remap it is a another story though.

interesting. Well i guess the next question is, which is better, as both t51r and gt4202 are capable of 1000hp ? Assuming they are used on the same setup, which would be more efficient ? Is there any other differences in the 4202 and 4202R other then 1 is non BB other is ? Im interested to contact someone who had these turbos on an RB30DET to see how they behave, but im having trouble contacting such people...can anyone help me out ? From what ive seen a couple of the 31's had this (SLO 031 and JET R31 from memory?) Would be nice to see their dyno sheets !

what is the difference between these two turbos ? I thought they were the same, yet i can see both being sold under those names with a different price tag ?

Nah not sick of the 31, i was just secretly hunting for a GTR but i think my money is better spent on a house at this stage ! And if i can manage to pick up a 33+house = win > GTR ! GTR can wait...all in good time

Yeh they came in S2 and gunmetal would be nice also but no.1 preference is a silver (sonic) ...but i think you are referring to a s1 which is a no go unfortunately. I just want to see the kind of prices people are asking for them as i might be getting a house instead of a GTR, but ill need another nice skyline other then my 31...And i wouldn't go to anything else non GTR, but a silver s2 R33...my true love . Still cant get over my stolen 1 and its been 2 years !!!

does anyone know of any r33 series 2 GTS4s for sale...they seem to be rare as rockin horse poo !
