Its a daily car. I dont want to blow any more money on serious bolt ons, the engine building took up more then enough money. Going with insane bolt ons is just stupid on this daily car. DP03 mentioned 2530s ? Wouldnt that still be too responsive on a 3L ? The way i see it, i dont want to make more then lets say ~270rwkw, and i was thinking of incorporating a twin turbo set up that uses stock turbos x 2 (gtst/wrx etc) which are cheap to replace. If i can have twin td04's and i can push ~14psi through them safely, i would be more then happy.(if this works out to be a good/cheap option). Also to answer 1 of the previous questions, why high/low boost setting. Again, its a daily car, why would i want to run 14psi constantly in city driving ? Leave it at roughly 9psi day to day, wind up to 14 for fun times. All this is still in the planing stages so any more turbo setup suggestions are more then welcome ! edit: TD04's are Mitsi turbos ? are these IDENTICAL in every way with the ones the WRX use ?

Now that you said what alarm you have and that its not working, might as well rip it out and replace it with a new 1 and DONT TELL EVERYONE what brand/model unless you want your car stolen. Remember this is a public forum, anyone and everyone reads it ! ps: better still don't even say who installed it for you and where you got it from because certain places carry only 1 type of alram so its easy to figure out which 1 you had installed.

ok so far we have stock GTR turbs or 2 x ca18 turbz (confirmation they are steel wheel?) Nismoid: so you wouldnt recommend 2 x rb25 turbos running 8psi low, 12psi high boost (only sometimes - maybe 1-3hr a week) ? would they be too laggy?

In the making is my 26/30 and since i cant afford to go all out atm with big single + supporting mods, im just going to put it together stock... My problem is will the stock GTR turbos be too responsive on a 3L block (car being rwd also) ? I was thinking of making adapter plates to fit T3 flange and use either rb20/25 stock turbos (x2)... Anyone done this before...would the 25 turbz be too laggy (5k+rpm) ? Please no smart ass comments ! Any info/advice is greatly appreciated .

Im not so sure you can get the RB30 to be legal in a R32 ? (sum1 with experience/knowledge please confirm). Also, whatever HEAD you use, use that matching ECU. Im gathering parts for my rb30dett build (26/30 twin turbz). Got 80% of the parts (including 25 box). cant wait for it to be finished, but like mentioned before, it will ALWAYS take longer then you planed ! Good luck !
