Thanks for the tips! I was thinking Blitz Nur Spec R Cat Back (maybe eventually full), and an Apexi Air filter. Didn't know an unsheilded pod can make you lose power, so many people leave it unsheilded?? Would i be able to buy a sheild locally? (Melbourne)

Hi all, So i just got my 34 gtt, its stock everything. This is my first Skyline and first turbo also. Wanting to put a cat back system on it, but not sure how it will sound? im after a not overly loud, nice RB sound, will this do the trick? I test drove a white 34 at a importer in Nunawading which i think had a cat back 3" system on it and its sounds awesome, it also had a pod though. Basically what im asking is: -Will i be able to acheive this with a cat back? -What kind of noise will i get with JUST a pod? -How much (if any) performance gain will i get? -What brand exhaust do you recommend? Any feedback appreciated!

Hi All, I just bought my first Skyline, its a 34 GTT and i want to put a Stainless Cat Back exhaust on it and im looking for a good workshop in Melbourne to do it. Does anyone know a place where i could get this done and trust its done well?? I say this because my mate had his stainless exhaust done and it snapped at one of the welds while he was driving! He spent a bit on it and i dont wanna go through what he did. So does anyone know a performance place where i could get this and other things done that has a good reputation and is reliable? Also, can anyone tell me what they have, or can recommend the optimum size for the piping and muffler that will will have a nice RB sound, but also increase performance? Im thinking 3" piping, and 4.5" tip on the cannon muffler. And what do you think they would charge? Any feedback anyone has would be greatly appreciated!
