true dezz i'd suggest if you were earning say 150k your missuz might expect more than $3-$5k ring, just assuming so could be wrong. bottom line is you spend what you can afford and get the best thing you can for that budget

yeh bit sour dezzmang. i mean they keep it and wear it forever i got no issue spending a bit on it not saying id spend $30k though! its relative to what you can afford but i wouldnt be comfortable with some shoddy ring with a small/average diamond but its a personal preference not like there are any rules!

Absolute premium specs on blue Nile fr 1.14ct came in at 35k for diamond only which I doubt you'd bother getting such high spec in a 1ct at that price most people wouldn't tell the difference

That doesn't sound right man like I said 18k was what we got quoted forget specs might have been an E for 18k haven't seen any 1cts for $30k

that's crazy saving, good job brah guessing its a sizeable diamond if it was almost 30k @ tiffanys! thats like 1.5-2ct territory isn't it? pays to shop around with such big ticket items.

Yeh like I said no doubt u can get great stuff a lot of people say brokers are best value I mean you couldn't fault the one I saw apart from the $$ but like any name brand stuff that how it is you design it or did it together?

Yeh deff paying for name but apparently they get the top 3% of diamonds in the world only ae went one other place had same size for 15k you could see the difference clearly if u want a big rock it's easy just go for lower quality but eh 18k was like
