spose its a good thing i was planning on pulling my engine out sometime soon. went down to the local bp to fill up, walking back to the 200 i noticed something dripping, so popped the hood, had a poke around, seem to be weeping coolant from around the turbo. also had some old codger mumble to me (with my head in the engine bay) on his way past; "stupid hoons, hope your cars broken". stupid old codger doesnt even know me... doesnt seem like much of a big deal though, just need to keep a couple litres of demineralised water in the car just in case. pantera with a bodykit. would love a pantera, but the 'devil' seems a bit silly, really. much love for the cosmo. but daily fuel consumption to rival a C-17 globemaster on take off puts me off a little.

Well, at the end of the month im turning 21. and i've recently been informed that is somewhat of a big deal. so im considering breaking with the usual tradition of working or doing nothing on my birthday, and actually doing something, and after my recent discovery of the mawson lakes hotel, i figured id do something there. i also figured id invite you lot. so yeah, anyone who wants to help me celebrate my birthday, dates are to be announced, but im thinking on the 1st or the 8th of april, yeah, its clashing with the usual vili's meet, but i think this *might* be more fun. cheers.

"if it aint broke..." you going roots type or centrifugal? im assuming the latter, youre still going to experience lag, granted, not the same amount as a turbocharged application, but its still there. :EDIT: spose i shall have my say in regards to the previous argument, re: discussions on the sa forum. im going to direct the moderators to this; the WA wasteland. im glad the moderators are more active in keeping the garbage out of the SA section, but one of the rather charming things about our humble little forum was the occasional random/non-car related thread, which we had a few of. so im thinking a dedicated wasteland sub forum like in WA would be good for us, sure its more work, but im sure someone would be more than happy to put their hand up to moderate the 'wasteland' sub forum, hell, id even raise my hand. sure, we're all crazy car loving lunatics, but we do occasionally enjoy things that are non car related and want to share these thoughts with other SA members, but with the crackdown in the main section, none feel 'safe' to do this anymore. (yes, my post is a little disjointed, i just finished work.)
