  2. I have heard that R33 Series 2 and R34 turbos have a plastic wheel?
  3. Go for the turbo back exhaust, with high flow cat. Make sure u get a well known brand that is not loud... Some nice rims, and possibly a cooler and you will have a nice line... MAke it look nice - maybe an aftermarket bar, and some 18's. ---------------------------------------- Servicing Call Fred @ RevRite Perfomance - he is in Silverwater, and is a great mechanic... Tell him Paul sent you.. 9648 0264 - www.revriteperformance.com
  4. Please call me on 0412591369 to arrange pickup of the rear pods... Thanks, Paul
  5. This is a good idea... I want to get this done to my fairly standard R32 just to dressit up a bit..
  6. Please call me on 0412591369 so that I can make you an offer on some of these parts...
  7. I am after the following parts for my R32: Genuine Nissan rear pods for an R32 GTST. R32 GTR front bar support. Must be unmodified.. R32 GTR headlights... Must have the clips that accept the R32 GTR front grille, and be in good condition Please PM me or call me on 0412591369 if you can help..
  8. I have a GTR front bar $500 + shipping (postcode 2154 - Sydney). Its gunmetal grey and has the lower lip and intercooler mesh..
  9. Interested in an R33?
  10. What other nice wheel can you get for between $2500 - $3500 including tyres. All the ones I like always seem to be more than $4K
  11. :werd: The trial bar is ok - but there are a few things I don't really like about it, like the slots on either side of the bumper.... Can see why people like it - it's just not for me. Just to clear one thing up... I do love R32 GTR's. I could have afforeded one but was quoted $4k per year as I am only 22. I will be owning one when I turn 25 - and I will be modifying it with similar mods to this R32 (simple cooling and breathing, wheels, paint, and interior)... I love modifying cars - and could not have afforded a GTR nice enough (all the ones I like are $30k+)
  12. Hi Darren, The car is going great. Still haven't had the squeaking noise at the front done, as I was going to have this done when I put in the RB25DET. I know what it is though, so I'm not too fussed! Pretty much have the body sorted out - just need to get a GTR front bar support, and rear pods, then I'm on the home straight. I am sick of waiting for the RB25DET to arrive so I am just going to put on an R33 Series 2 or R34 turbo on, and maybe do the RB25DET in the future.... I am currently waiting on a price for paint for Midnight Purple 3..... If the paint comes through then I will stop lloking for an engine and go from there...
  13. I don't have any plans of selling my car. I am thinking about resale to keep a budget in mind. I know that money spent on mods is rarely seen again - however, I did but my car for a very low price with a plan and budget in mind... I am also thinking about resale because Skylines aren't the easiest cars to sell, and a nice blue or purple paint job will be easier to sell than a yellow paint job. Doesn't hurt to think ahead sometimes....
  14. You should buy private. Don't have to pay dealership fees etc... You can also see what type of person the seller is and how much they love the car they are selling.
  15. I know that they fit on an R32GTR... I am asking if they fir on a GTST. I would imagine that the only problem would be the the size of the guards - but I have seen GTST's with wheels that are 10 inches wide (they do come out of the guards a little though). Does anybody know if there is any problems with actually fitting them to the car? I guess my main question is - do you just have to roll/pump your guards to be able to fit R34 GTR rims to an R32 GTST?
  16. Looks like photoshop to me... Anyone seen this done in Australia or NZ?
  17. Has anybody ever seen these fitted to an R32 GTST ???
  18. oh god.... what a pity. Hope its not too expensive to fix
  19. Thanks for the objective reply pentae. I understand what you are trying to say - however we disagree... I don't really like any kits that are available for the GTST and dont really like the stock look (I also dont really like the no rear wing look - strange I know - everyone loves it!). In terms of educating friends on GTR's this is much easier said than done... I have been trying on 2 friends to and from work for days now... Mainly R33's, and they can't tell the difference no matter how many differences I point out. My plan.... get number plates declaring that it is a GTST - because I am proud that it is a GTST.
  20. Car already has Apexi damper adjustable suspension so that all taken care of... Not too interested in spending $3500 on the RB20 as it will be money that never returns to my pocket... If i put an RB25 in then the car will have an edge when selling, and will have less kms, and some of the $$$ will be returnd when selling. If I keep the RB20, then I will most probably just buy an R34 turbo, and leave it at that... Then if anything goes wrong with the RB20, I will upgrade to an RB25. I could be wrong though... Can anybody tell me any experience they have had rebuilding an RB20 (cost, effort, benefits when selling).
  21. Would like to launch that car... Looks like it would fall over
  22. Thanks for the feedback guys.... I don't want to turn this into a debate... Just wanted opinions please.
  23. $9.95 from Dick Smith Electronics: http://www.dse.com.au/cgi-bin/dse.storefro...duct/View/P7691
  24. I like yellow cars... although i wouldnt want to own one.
