Hi, i just wanted your opinions on how big of a exhaust is too big? I just put on a 3.5" (or maybe even 4"), havent measured it yet since i got it for free, anyway I feel that its abit loud, is there a way i can silence it without putting on a stockie or anyone have exhaust sizes this big? what are your thoughts on them thanks

hey guys, i brought a r33 not too long ago - but i have noticed the ride is very uncomfortable, i can feel very small holes etc.. on the road and speed humps are really bad, i have to slow down to 15-20kmph and even then its bad. I know the car has been lowered, it sits about ~160-170mm from the lowest part of the car. What i want to know is how to improve it? or are the shocks stuffed and i need to replace them? or even if the ones i got are adjustable

hey guys, i got a N/A r33 - pretty much stock. i've only had it for about 3wks or so i can only give a rough estimate so far but it seems to drink petrol like theres no tomorrow?! i worked it out and i would roughly get around 250km's a tank??? this is with me driving like a grandma ALL the time - i havent floored it at all. i have a suspicision there might be a problem somewhere, anyone know what it could be or is this normal for skylines and im gonna have a empty bank account from now on

so whats the best one to get? HKS, K&N or apexi? i also want the swoosh noise

hi, i've got the same problem as you.. intead of closing it though, mine closes and doesnt open back up again... i dunno what could be causing this as it folds in fine but doesnt fold back out (i've listened and the motor doesnt even try to fold out).. unless theres 2 motors, one for closing and one for opening??

hey i got a r33 gts and im currently paying $550/year 3rd party fire and theft with justcars and im 18. i feel the gts is actually not bad as some people make it out on these forums to be, for me, i wont be taking it to the track and since im a student i probably wouldnt be able to afford the turbo maintenace etc.. but as a daily its a great car to have.

i dont know if anyone knows of this but if you set the mode to feet/face or feet only aswell (i think). the clicking stops - a temp fix for those who cant be bothered ripping out the dash but the clicking still annoys you

i've had my r33 for about a week now.. and the only time i've left it parked and gone somewhere, it got keyed.. i always get greases from people as soon as they see my p plates and me driving a r33 (even older people like 40-50) and i seem to notice alot more people tail gate me than when i was driving my old shitbox car. i can only hope it gets better! :

hey guys, how can you tell the different ones apart? between a normal skyline gts25 and a gts25 type S? any physical things i can check to see if its a type S or normal one? thanks in advance

my skyline r33 does this aswell... so the whole dash has to be pulled out and this arm replaced? damnn

ok thanks guys, just another question.. i picked it up and drove it back home but i was playing around with the side mirror switches (the ones that close the mirror and open them)... i closed the mirrors and when i tried to open them again, only the left side one opens? the driver side one stays closed like theres no power going to it anymore and also anyone know where i can buy a front badge and side 2 badges?

hey guys, im hopefully going to pickup a '93 skyline r33 gts25 (non turbo) later this evening. i just have one question: should i be using optimax or bp ultimate etc.. or should normal unleaded be OK since its not a turbo?

ahh k lewis... damn u picked up a turbo r32 for $9200? nice catch man, i might just keep looking around for abit then, this one is 1992 though if that makes any diff

yeh im not too sure about the 77k's because its at a mechanic shop right now and its a mechanic whos imported it thats selling it... The odometer reads about 38k but he said its really done about 77k's and his had to change the meter to get compliance in australia... so the 77k's is jsut going by his word, dont know if RACV check or something can pick that up?

hey guys, im new here, im from vic i just wanted ur guys opinion; im interested in a skyline r32 gts-t for about $11k, 77,000k's, turbo timer, boost guage etc... do u guys think it is a good deal? i had a quick look at it today and it looks clean, no accidents and the previous owner isnt a P plater or anything like that
