cheers guys

could anyone suggest why my back spoiler light aint working. what can i do? where can i locate the wiring for rear spoiler light? is it connected to the brake lights, the boot light or is it an individual wire specific to the back spoiler light.

ron do u have pics of the roof?

ur dust problem could be that the car was from japan->osaka floods->the cars got flooded and filled up the cars with dirt. (i know sounds far stretched) my mate has a s15 and he bought it from osaka, full of dust in vents/seats/car etc..

electric? does it leak? i really want one cause s2 gtst sunroofs are/were hard to find! so how much would it cost all up to put in (no dads garage).

are r33 targets gtst s2? do they get stolen often? in melb? sorry about the qn. but im in the final stages of deciding wat type of insurance i should get. and if i should get quiktrak?

gester with regards to the sunroof, i aint too sure, all i know is this guy said to me that he will do it for 1500. now im not sure if he was spinning shit but 1500 for an electric sunroof sounds good i guess. im not sure (considering i work at a automotive company i should find out hey!). im in no rush to get a sunroof, preferabbly b4 next summer, thats if melb decided to have one this year!!

v-meister: do u think its is worthwhile getting quiktrack (on a r33 gtst) and not pay full comprehensive, and only get 3rd party. or do u have both full comprehensive and quiktrak? im tossing up what i should do with insurance. im only worried about the car getting stolen! do they get stolen often? i thought they were hard to get into. im from the west in melb. no one will touch it around my area but when i go out, to the city its a diff story.

also gester, ur from brisbane right? i dont want to sound like an idiot but in generally in quensland, the imported cars are much cheaper than melbounrne. Either way id be so happy to get a s2 r33 for ur price. just work it now!!!! Champinco

to rwong20012 DAMN!!!!! UR CRAZY. mad car!!! to Gester i bought mine on tuesday, it was a straight import, the guy just imported it and needed the money so i bought it off him, we got it on road (reg and stamp etc..) for 24k. i havnt done any mods to it yet (as i just bought it) but it came with HKS intercooler (front piping) and air filter, alarm and immob, turbo timer, 6-way speaker system, full body kit, mats, and thats about it. as ive said b4 i have been looking for ages and i dont trust giving deposits on imported cars unless myself, my bro and our mechanic test drive em...so i guess the car i have now past all these tests. i love it!!! Potential mods: mostly exterior 1st, as r33 rips already. (coming straight off a 96 magna) probably touch ups, and a cut and polish for looks, then most likely rims and definetely a sunroof. then a boost controller, and aftermarket computer. For now ill enjoy it will i can.

Prank is it worthwhile getting tracking i mean on a gtst?? is it expensive->if you dont mind how much? Does famous insure ppl in melb? Cheers

ash thats a mad price!!! i ended up getting mine 4 24 on road its a 97 gtst 68k-kms, white, body kit, only aftermarket things are: HKS intercooler, and air filter, gtr brake pads, pioneer system 6 way speakers, and an aftermarket alarm. i mean its not too bad, u seemed to get a better deal!!! maybe cause im from melb its a bit dearer??? either way we both got skylines thats the important thing. they are !@#$ MAD!!! p.s: as soon as i get hold of a dig camera, ill send u pics

just wondering if i should reset my ECU??? I just bought my car on tues, hooray, and apparently i should reset my ECU? if so why should i do it? will/how will it effect my car? will it effect my stereo or my alarm etc.. Cheers

I want them for street (normal use) yeah i heard bedix are good. how much are they roughly? and can i put the brake pads on myself? if not how much am i looking at roughly to buy 4 new ones (say bredix or another brand) and put on by a mechanic? Cheers

muck sorry i didnt get ur claim? isnt 3rd party if u hit into someone else? i mean how did just cars pay for ur car when the wrx was at fault and he had no insurance? how much u payin for 3rd party insurance with just cars? how old r u? and is ur car legal/technically unroadworthy? cheers.

Hi guys, just joined this forum and love it. ill be quick and to the point. I REALLY NEED SOME ADVICE ON THIS ISSUE!!! make it simple: I wanted a skyline, i bought one today (after looking for 5 months). Its mad s2 gtst r33. my problem is i need insurance! once again we are getting battered by the insurance companies trying to shove it up our ass! Could someone please give me advice on what insurance company i should go to in vic?? and wat type?? im worried about the car getting stolen!!! Is it common 4 r33 to get stolen?? Or should i get a sik ass satellite navigation alarm??? not really worried about accidents, so i am looking at full or third? suggestions?? im 22 m, and have had no insurance b4!!! thanks p.s i have already read the thread on famous insurance.

could someone ever so kindly give me their opinion on this car i am most likely gonna buy??? 97 white skyline gtst (series II) -good nic (needs new brake pads (according to my mechanic) -has a good engine and turbo will last a while -has a body kit (standard ones dont come with side skirt and front bumper extensions???) -has aftermarker intercooler-HKS and HKS Air filter (how much worth???) -4 or 4.5 inch titanium exhaust to cat not to engine/turbo -good system too. -turbo timer and aftermarket alarm with standard immobiliser) -he wants 23500 (24 on road-i pay reg, he pays stamp duty) I want to get it but it has no rims, and it lacks a little in performance. I mean its seems a good price for a series II (im in melb) and i have been looking solidly for about 5 months now!!! Any advice would be good Cheers Champinco

Hey guys and gals, just joined this forum and i think its mad. i just purchased or in the process of purchasing (tomorow or tuesday) my 1st turbo performance vehicle->series II 97 gtst. from a 96 magna FWD to a turbo car, big jump i guess. and as i am a newby i was just wondering is there any way i can find out how my turbo is running (assuming a boost gauge will test how much psi or turbo is left?) is that right? how much should i be on? is standard 7.5?? i have a HKS intercooler and air filter. should i also reset my ecu once i get it??? is it harmful and wat does it do?? Jap the wholo way!!! go tagucchi and demming on Jap manufacturing!!! Cheers Champinco

hey guys, i just joined this forum and i think its mad. ] i just recently purchased a series II 97 gtst (actually im getting it tomorow or tuesday). i agree, i have driven the car about 3 times, and every time i drive it, it seems slower. i think we are just trippin. As i am a newby to skylines ive gathered a boost gauge will measure the amount of boost (psi??) in the turbo? is this right? cause i feel that my car (or soon to be) is lagging a bit. the only mods are hks intercooler (front piping and shit) and HKS air filter. should this boost my car a bit? should i reset the ecu? is it good for the car and wat does it do???
