  1. that was kinda the point, damn internet not showing sarcasum. every car yard up around here will have a VF or FG-X at the front of the yard on king springs and simmons = instant profit. I swear they must buy them in bulk. never looked at real rims for a VF so cannot help sorry.
  2. so big week for 88e eh.
  3. just buy simmons..done
  4. years back mate bought a LX torana with a a9x drop tank, plus lowered springs. every bump or corner it would scrape. thankfully he sold it before it finally wore through and caught fire
  5. I am as it is, with having to move out of the rental, you would almost call it couch surfing. depending on time staying at my folks, katie's mum, hotels for work plus Katie's sister's and was house sitting for a couple weeks in Oak Park. Bangladesh will be first time done more than 7 nights in a row in one bed since march. hoping to get a few weekends in a row home after the move as we ahve started buying trees and planting seeds in prep for the move, so would be good to get started on it
  6. something like that. I'm still going to be traveling but it will cut back from where I was at. the next few months will be busy with the due diligence with the buy out announcement. I'm hoping for an around 50% drop in travel.
  7. fair call. I'm in korea till monday week, then sunday go to maylasia for a week, home 10 days then Bangladesh for 3 weeks, get home 4 days b4 heading to bathurst. so away for 5 of the next 8 weeks and meant to be doing hand over half way thought the bangladesh trip. first person who ever wanted their builder to slow down!
  8. I acutally like these old english cars are cool, if not reliablie has pop up headlights that make any car cool and still in the era that you can work on them yourselves and if don;t care about concurs be able to replace with some more modern gear that works. If still for sale after bathurst, buzz me. (should be in house by then and if I turn up with yet another car my mates wife will kill me for storing cars at her place)
  9. or when your boss has to approve your pay each month and it larger than his... my last boss was the lowest paid member of the team, the joys of an office job.
  10. private company so no go on that.
  11. the new role I signed up to 2 weeks ago is going to be moving over to digicert. so this will be a 4th buy out for my tenure here. will only be a good thing, They have a modern platform and not much sales/deployment/marketing. we have great sales/deployment/marketing running off an old platform. win win.
  12. weeee http://investor.symantec.com/About/Investors/press-releases/press-release-details/2017/DigiCert-to-Acquire-Symantecs-Website-Security-and-Related-PKI-Solutions/default.aspx
  13. Message Moh he sees this a lot with kitchen stuff. the ones I have seen auction of on Grays auctions or similar. best bet is to find the administrators (quick google should find that) and contact them.
  14. or just use Toby and he will sort it all out for you ......
  15. i've been there for a while, the IP I have in my head is worth much more to them than my salary... basically they loose me, they loose near on 10 Mil of revenue stream as they cannot service it. we have 2 people left who can maintain the product globally and one who can install.. that's the 2nd redundancy that I have come though in better position for. this one however is all on me, its up to me to either make this role work which has great potential for future, or fail miserably. and with more exposure, gone from 9 levels to CEO to 4
  16. So after being made redundant 3 weeks ago, i had another department at work ask if I would be interested in working for them. basically some skills I have that is not replicated elsewhere withing the company that they need. after discussing with with them, they are building a new role around me and my skill set rather than try and fit me in an existing role. SO still a little bit of consulting, but more training of others in different offices and having oversite on processes and procedures for some of our partners and offices. still locking in details but going to be a fun ride
  17. Stuff that FIFO life.
  18. SO exactly like it was 22 years ago. Those were huge around Shepparton. Classic example was dude with a VC commo paid 2.500 for the car, then 20K of stereo in it. hell my first car was insured for 5000, 2500 for car 2500 for stereo. Ahh bogan life. and yes I did have a kicker Sub.
  19. i've had leaky injectors in the ute so if cars sits for a while was leaking into cyl. worn rings and it would get past, mine would just run like shit after I come back from a trip till it burned off/spat out the excess fuel.
  20. next one I know of: http://ffcc.com.au/event/group-5-motorkhana-round-7-3/ DECA have changed up a few things so there is some changes coming for SAU Vics next one. Not going to give the game away in advance, but I will be lining up for the first tickets..

  22. well , yes unless your 18 and going uni balls where heaps of crap will be split on it. then go your sires 99% special all night long.
  23. why 100% wool? I normally go a wool/silk or a wool/cashmere blend.
  24. only ever bought one suit off rack. and it was a nasty one when I was at uni. tailored all the way. I go to him in HK as easier for me but in in AU around sept/oct most years http://www.lktailor.com/bespoke-tailor-in-australia.html
