  1. just a question regarding the engine. say if you were to Twin turbo it, would that bring it close to the new VQ38DETT in the R35GTR? as the difference is only .3L Just weighing up the option that's all!

  4. swap for Ca18DET 180, has new imported motor in it with approx. 65000kms on it. (installed 13/08/07) ODO says 145***kms. FMIC, dump pipe, 3a racing pod filter (rated best by autosalon mag recently), Panasonic CD with Alpine 6x9s, ISC coilovers, Work Ewing 16x7 wheels. Probably getting a 3" exhaust system soon but can hold off on it if you like to make it more legal for ya! would trade with $2k cash your way. However i don't have that cash now so if you don't sell it in 2 months then i wil have the money for ya.   6. hey im looking to see if anyone wants to sell their R32 skyline. it can be non-turbo (hence the low figure of $8k) however if someone is willing to let their GTS-T go for round bout that price then please feel free to contact me thru PM. and also prefer the skyline to be manual as well. thankyou -jamie
  7. hey there people. i'm very keen on this car that is an RB20DE. And he said a budget of $2000 or so should get it turboed. THis is all affordable etc however a lot of mates have told me there are lots of risks such as the engine isnt strong enough to run with the turbo. and also that other things like brakes etc need attention. can anyone agree with this or can anyone offer help on this topic. i want to know if anyone has done it and how their car has been since. much appreciated Jamie

  9. Ok guys I have plans for an R34 GT-T. J-spec has some for $25000 landed and complied (plus ive notcied one on here going or $25000!) As per normal it wont be left stock. Visualise a midnight purple R34 with 18" Starcorp Racing Impul Chromes (white with chrome lip and 18 by 9s on front and 18 by 10s on the rear). May or may not put on a URAS monkeykit. Mods are as follows: - 3" cat-back zorst - Trust FMIC - Star Racing Impul Chromes (18 by 9"s and 18 by 10"s) - HA coil-overs - Nismo 2-way LSD - Trust Td06-20G turbo - 770cc injectors - heavy duty clutch to support the new power Now im a newbie when it comes to modding cars and have no idea about the costs involved so the flame suit is ready. If there are any parts that are needed that i havent mentioned yet please say so and the cost of the part. However, if someone would like to give me a rundown on the costs involved. I'm guessing about $3000 for paint job? $500 for zorst? $3000max for wheels? $1700 for HA Coils? $1100 for FMIC? and the rest im unsure about so any help will be appreciated. And as for how im gonna afford it, I'm employed by the Defence Force so its not really a problem.
