ok so on the way home from tafe my car shat itself, stuck on the side of the road with hundreds of cars flying past (no one stopped and helped me, the dogs...and i got laughed at by a wannabe WRX full of P platers) i found the problem my intercooler pipe running to the intake had come loose, so my car was going into R&R, anyways i fixed it and drove home pumping unburnt fuel, when i got home i reset the ecu the way SK said to in the O2 sensor thread, no more black smoke. just wondering if this would have set the ecu back to preset defaults or to the way it was tuned last. Should i get it retuned? also should i look at changing the o2 sensor because of all the black smoke it was pumping out?

so if i want to watch i have to meet somewhere to get the spectator ticket?

my stagea has a similar problem but without the engine light, just the TCS off and slip light come on when the car is turned on sometimes, it's done it maybe 15 times in 12 months, it goes away if the car is turned off then back on. im not worried

yea im thru just cars too, but heaps of cars get stolen each week around cessnock so i think it has something to do with that, and its under a huge carport, not a garage my friend bought a R32 gtst was one of the nicest R32's i'd seen and he have lost his license twice had 3 previous claims for crashes and stolen cars, VT's VN's VP's etc... he got insurance for $1400 thru elders, he thought he was the man, i felt ripped off, but then one day he went blasting thru a give way hit a 4WD and rolled the 4WD which had a small baby inside, this was about 3 weeks after he bought it. he rang elders the other day looking to insure another R32 he was going to buy, they want to charge him $5500 now... haha

yeah ive just turned 20 am paying $2856 to be insured for $22000 no accidents or claims, not sure what others my age are paying spose it could be the area i live in too, damn car thieves...

putting it in sports/tipronic mode will raise the revs by around 500RPM and when you put it back into normal mode it'll drop those revs, if thats what you are thinking of as another shift, it's not.

my TSC plays up sometimes when i start the car in the morning the dash lights up with the little 'TSC' light and the 'spin' light next to it, don't know whats the go, the spin light only usually comes on when the wheels are spinning - flashing on and off but sometimes its always on...wierd, usually when its raining too when you want traction control, any ideas people
