  1. Was going to say I have a spare T-boost controller you can lend to test Toffy, but sounds like its something with the wastegate (which you would already have known) Actually I have a blown turbo if you want to test that actuator off there?
  2. ^ +1 or get a PowerFC You might have been running 14 psi in your R32, but 14 psi on an RB20 turbo is different than 14 psi on an RB25 turbo. (I realise that you are only putting it to 11psi and this is happening, just making the point that they are not equal volumes and therefore not comparable) It has nothing to do with your injectors or any of the other stuff, its the standard ecu seeing too much air going into the engine, and retarding the timing (R&R= Rich and Retarded) I've had this, its like it just drops into a lull, and then surges once you get over 4-4.5k.
  3. Sounds like R&R to me. Are you both running standard computers???
  4. Right... Last night picked up car after having the HKS GT-RS installed. Damn thing whines like a whore off boost lol 550cc Nismo's, Z32, Splitfire coil packs and new plugs going in on the weekend. Then just waiting on a tune and I'll get the HICAS lockbar put in. You should buy my split dump for the Stag Todd, you know you want to!
  5. Price Drop: $180 for the Adj Ex Cam Gear $290 for the Split-Dump/Front Pipe (cost nearly $400 in May) ono
  6. no idea... its not mine, just a pic I stole...
  7. sorry, full circular divider?? Its a full split dump, so two pipes, which use a half inset moon on either side devider.... did that make any sense at all??? LOL Mine is the same as this except in stainless: http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v218/madwob/IMG_1436.jpg It's coming off the car next week and is for sale (reason is getting bigger turbo, and dont want issues with the waste gate hitting the split pipe, it's perfect for standard turbo though)
  8. I've got one of the BOS/BATMBL split-dump/front pipes, and havent had any problems with boost creep. The split is coming back in after the bend, which I believe creates less turbulance. I dont know about others though.
  9. Bump!!! The Trust Exhaust Cam Gear is genuine and adjustable. Believe will fit RB20's, Rb25's and Rb26's. Split-Dump/Front-Pipe in one will be off mid next week and available then. This will also fit R32's, and by that I'm assuming it should fit Stagea's also. Offers??
  10. Silver would have been me Wayne! Good to meet you, sucks about you having to get rid of the 34, very tidy!
  11. Got Pics?? Remembered any more of those parts??
  12. Hey, I currently have a brand new Trust Exhaust Cam gear for an RB still in box - $200 And will soon have a BOS/BATMBL Stainless Steel Split/Dump Pipe for an R33 as soon as it comes off the car - $350 Split/Dump has only been on the car for a few months, and has been fantastic. It is not the same as their current style, the split comes back in after the bend, and is the best quality you can get for the 33. Not sure on how long it will be before it is off the car, as I'm waiting for the new one to turn up. PM me. Cheers, Gerard
  13. Thing is I'm in TAS, so anything I get will have to be ordered and paid for before I see it. Who has one, and what are you using?? Standard dump pipe is out of the question. I think I'll just get a JJR Bell Mouth.
  14. I have just picked up a GT-RS and have noticed that unlike the standard turbo, the exhaust outlet and the wastgate outlet are seperated. I currently have one of the BOS/Batmbl split/dump pipes, and these are obviously going to jag on each other in this area. My questions are, if I cut the seperator off on the split/dump will this be fine or will the wastgate flap hit the dump pipe and not open properly?? Should I go for another dump pipe? and what suggestions are there?? I dont really want to buy a massively expensive one, so would a bell mouth be the cheapest and better option? Cheers
  15. I just bought one yesterday from http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/Hi...dy-t166481.html
  16. From what I have heard the Trust PEII is quite restrictive. I've got a Kakimoto Regu 06&R, which sounds good and doesnt drone. At normal cruising its not much different than the stock Nismo exhaust I had. I've also heard good things about one of the Fujitsubo as a quiet alternative. As for the dump, I got one of the BOS/BATMBL. I think its the best design split/dump and front pipe in one.
  17. Well I have looked at the 2835 ProS Woolls, but I cant justify the extra cost for it, when I should be able to get that sort of power fron the GT-RS. Even if its a little less power I'm not going to be worried. I dont intend to open the engine up and rebuild it, so I'm not going to get the most out of the 2835 (but I wasnt intending to upgrade the turbo either lol) Im hoping that I can get some where around 250kw, but I really after a solid, responsive setup. We'll see what happens!
  18. Sorry to hear mate! Other than the obvious it looks like a very clean R33. If your looking to go down the turbo path, I have a blown R33 S2 turbo, that would be suitable for highflowing, $150. Let me know if your interested. Welcome to the forum!
  19. I got one at the hobby shop last night thanks gmb, but its still not quite right. The cars in getting a service so I asked them to replace it if they had something more suitable, it that lucks out I might take you up on that thanks mate!
  20. Thanks for the input Mich, know where you can get one of those kits?? and costs? As part of the normal mod's before looking at the turbo upgrade I have fuel pump and powerfc. Was trying to get as much as I could out of the standard turbo, but since having lost the rear wheel out the exhaust, I have lost faith in their ability LOL Sam's said the 555's will be more than enough for the power.
  21. its a really small line, i doubt a brass one will fit. im going to go into a hobby shop in an hour or so and see what i can get there. cheers though
  22. Isnt the standard exhaust 2.5"?? I wouldnt go anything less than 3" what future mod's are you going to do? and what sort of car does you mate have?
  23. Yeah I was pretty cut lol, not in the fact that I didnt think it could happen, was just really looking forward to the drive home!! What do you reckon 555cc or 740cc?? Thats awesome about the improvement of the ecu change over!! Do you reckon it was tuned for a bigger turbo??
