  2. going by my first post, it's been over a year now with these up front. they have not hardened or developed any inconsistency. not sure of kms. i'll guess at 8-10k. still grippy. suprisingly not much wear, and wearing evenly. i'm really pleased with the tyres. i highly recommend them. i will be getting these again. there is nothing close in this price range, and probably nothing for double the price too.
  3. agreed. fitness gadgets are just another distraction from actually doing some work towards your fitness.
  4. i have the atr sports on the rear 265/18. they are not too bad but the momo are much better. I would not trust the atr up front to keep me pointed in the right direction. wet grip is pretty average with atr. on the upside, they look like theyre going to last for 30 years!!! lol.
  5. i'm not feeling any sidewall flex. i have the same size as you up front. check your pressures? my fronts are around 38 - 39 psi. they were around 34psi when installed. too soft for me.
  6. Mine fronts are still going strong. Even wear. Not worn all that much. Look like they will last a good while. Still grip extremely well, wet and dry. Very pleased with these.
  7. A good used HKS 2535 may be what you need. Crazy response, but will choke at top end. 230rwkw type of power. I think they can handle high teens worth of boost. or for a little bigger look at the HKS GT-RS
  8. 0 views? Is that possible Edit. Never mind. As soon as I made this post it showed 40+ views.

  10. yeah i have an update! these tyres still feel great. not a single complaint from me. still grip like new. feel like new. dont seem to have deteriorated much, if at all. very pleased. i only wish they came in more sizes, like 235/18 and 265/18.
  11. IMO Shannons SUCK!. I was with Shannons for ages, but found them to be pretty crap when it came time for them to do their job. Accident repair. Not at fault. The faulty party admitted blame and their insurance accepted costs. Shannons assessor was a total pain in the ass. Was not flexible on anything, was extremely tight down to the dollar. Even to the point where a damaged tyre would not be replaced, but rather they would contribute only the % value of the remaining tread. ie they would only contribute 50% of the value of a tyre that has 50% tread. But they happily charge me 100% of the fkn premium every year.!!! I had multiple arguments with them over this and other matters, to no avail. My repairer, who i know, told me they are one of the worst to deal with. In the end I forked out extra cash to the repairer to get the job done the way I wanted. Now I'm with Lumley SV. Agreed value. Lower premiums. All modifications are noted in the policy.
  12. it's a china double din unit, so lets assume it's not real high.
  13. that was easy! so splitting wont drop the signal voltage(?) too much
  14. I have an Android / WinCE head unit with front and rear RCA outputs. The problem is the Android side of things only seems to output to the front RCA's (FL+FR). (i can only select - left - right - two - off - for the android os sound output in the unit's main options) The (crappy) WinCE side uses front and rear RCA's. This goes for the normal speaker wires too. Obviously I want to play music and media through the Android OS and utilize the dozens of awesome players and equalizers. Plus this incarnation of WinCE looks and works like ass. So I figured I only have one option. Split the Front L RCA into 2 (Front L + Rear L into amp) and the Front R RCA into 2 (Front R + Rear R into amp). I figure as long as left and right are separate, i can adjust fader (gain) at the amp. And freq for fronts at the amp too. Will the sound quality, signal, etc suffer by using this method? Is this a no-no?
