No, I work in Bayswater which doesn't narrow it down seeing as all the big fibre companies in VIC are in Bayswater How do you know where I used to work?
-
Sorry Rekin, they wouldn't.

I sell fibre optic cable, accessories, rack cabinets, etc. Basically I sell anything to do with fibre optics (the data type, not the decorative lighting type.) I started uni back in '03 and realised it was a waste of time for me so I got straight into work. I was always going to end up with a job in IT/Telecommunications.

Only one of mine up there, not doing a burnout in this photo

ET's are awesome, Exa's are crap. Don't knock a $700 ET until you've had one, sooooo much fun.

They get a lot of nuisance emails from people I'd imagine, just be patient. Both myself and my partner have used J-spec and highly reccommend them. Extremely helpful and the cars were as described.
-
Haven't had time to take any, been too busy with other car issues.
-
Not really. Prefer not to say online. The engine bay detail was reasonable.

I had my R34 done at Protech in Boronia...but I think next time I'll take my car(s) to Final Inspection.

Very tidy R33 GTS-T sedan, dark grey with black wheels in Eastland carpark about 1pm.

Item: White 1990 R31 S3 Skyline Executive Sedan Location: Croydon, VIC, 3136 Item Condition: ~260,000km (country km's) The Good: Interior - very good condition, no major stains or marks anywhere. All window winders work. Body - above average condition. Driver's side front door and passenger side rear door are dented but repairable. Paint quite good (not faded, a few stone chips around the place.) Bumpers are both in good condition. No major rust. Windscreens both good (front replaced around a year ago.) Engine - reasonable for the km's. Has some leaks (not major), occasionally noisy at certain RPM. Has always been reliable. Won't start currently, see the bad points. Air-con - working and cold. Lights - all work, all in good condition. Towbar (no ball) Battery still holds charge well. The Bad: Currently won't start. Has fuel pressure but the spark is intermittent so it won't stay started for more than a few seconds. Possibly a very easy fix, but I don't have the time. It had been daily driven until two days ago when the problem started. Auto won't always hold gears, but it's still drivable. Steering has a play, power steering pump is noisy and it needs attention. Rear tyres don't have a lot of tread. Aerial is siliconed in place. Driver's side door only unlocks from the inside. Reason for selling: No use for three cars, don't have the time to fix. Price and price conditions: $500 neg Extra Info: Will not be sold with rego or RWC. It is currently registered but registration will be cancelled and the plates handed in. Can't be started, suggest an interested buyer bring a car trailer. Pictures: I am more than happy for the car to be inspected. Please note it can't be test driven. It'd suit someone who wanted a good shell to transfer their good parts into. It is also listed on eBay: http://cgi.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi...em=180239454368

Newbie With 3 White Nissans Saying Hi
llama_au replied to llama_au's topic in Four door and wagon builds
Got 3 runs in at Calder, I've never run at Calder before. All were pretty similar. N15 LX Sedan Avenir PNW10 SR20DET - Auto GT28RS running 14PSI (stock boost) - 158.5fwkw Average street tyres, everything in the car including the spare wheel Ambient Temp: don't know, f'ken cold Calder Park Raceway, VIC - 02/05/08 1st Run: - 60ft: 2.359 - Elapsed Time: 13.611 - Trap Speed: 106.58mph 2nd Run: - 60ft: 2.314 - Elapsed Time: 13.563 - Trap Speed: 104.18mph 3rd Run: - 60ft: 2.321 - Elapsed Time: 13.579 - Trap Speed: 104.94mph Still had fun but I was hoping for better. My 60ft time is worse than with the T25g, I'd kinda guessed that as it's a bit laggy off the line and then OMFG wheelspin for another 100-200m. The wheelspin was pretty shocking last night, combination of rain all day, average street tyres and my LSD packing up and going home. I also completely locked up my brakes braking from 200kmp/h on the first run and caused massive flat spots. Well a few updates. After taking the car down the quarter last night, I have a few upgrades planned. I'm still yet to get the Auto sorted and the car tuned, but that's not too far away now. Additionally to that I've discovered my LSD is completely f*cking useless. Every burnout (I only did three) resulted in massive single-spinners. These photos should give you an idea: One side of the car: The other side: A side note: rubber is really f*cking hard to get off the car. I spent a while today trying to get the caked rubber out of the guards from last night and previous times. The rubber extended over the roof and even onto the bootlid  I'm really not sure what my options are in the LSD department, being that I don't think that SR18DE Auto had many aftermarket performance parts. I have an SR18DE shift kit (so there are aftermarket parts) but I'm not sure if there are any more options aside from replacing the VSLD available as off the shelf items. I'll have to speak to my Auto guy when it goes in next, it's quite overdue for it's yearly service but I've been wanting to hold off until it's tuned for high boost so he can see how much of a pig it is to drive on the street at the moment. I also upgraded my front tyres today after locking them up at 200kmp/h and sliding for a couple of hundred metres (oops.) Times like these I could have done with ABS. I think my brake bias is also waaaaaaaay out. I didn't even slam on the brakes but they gripped so hard at that speed that I just went into a massive forward slide. Lets just say the flat spots I left were massive. New tyres: Bridgestone Potenza Adrenalin RE001 I'm looking forward to the injectors, AFM and tune to happen soon. Then it'll be getting the shift points on the Auto sorted. Then it'll be more boost and down the quarter again to see what change it's made Updates on the R34 maybe tomorrow. -
Ran the Pulsar last night. N15 Pulsar LX Sedan Avenir PNW10 SR20DET - Auto GT28RS running 14PSI (stock boost) - 158.5fwkw Average street tyres, everything in the car including the spare wheel Ambient Temp: don't know, f'ken cold Calder Park Raceway, VIC - 02/05/08 - 60ft: 2.314 - Elapsed Time: 13.563 - Trap Speed: 104.18mph

I get the sudden urge to want to ram those people And I think it's 30m before.
-
I was a couple of cars back in the line from you most of the night. I only have 205/45/R16's on my car too, but mine's just a little bit smaller
-
Quite a few cars running, hence only getting three runs in. Not many spectators 'til about 9pm. I'm off to get new tyres today haha
-
I only got three runs in, pretty much identical. 13.563 @ 167.67kmp/h was my best. 2.314 60' time which is pretty crap. I'm still reasonably happy though as that was on my normal street tyres, I had everything in the car including the spare tyre, I had tonnes of wheelspin and I'm only making 158.5fwkw. I flat-spotted my tyres of the first run, accidentally locked up at 200kmp/h.
-
Same, I called them and it's still one. The radar looks good, no rain forecast. I'm heading up by myself. 0431 379 828 if anyone wants to meet up with me there. I'll probably be there about 7pm.
-
I was going to go but there's no point now, more than likely will be cancelled due to the weather. It's a shame.
-
One R33 GTS-T booted it past me in a merging lane on Bayswater Road in Croydon South about 5:15pm.
-
Yeah, you can enter later. So whose going? I'm not keen on going if it's just by myself.

Don't go near the chains/franchises (ie. Ultratune/Kmart Tyre & Auto.) My cars are looked after by Sabaddin Automotive in Mulgrave. Ph: 9558 4422
