stock ecu is a funny thing....my old 33gtst with exhaust, fmic, pod, 12psi(or as start at 12 and drop of like all stock turbos) made 205rwkw... end of june this year my new 33gtst with same mods except safc made same power off 11psi...209 off 12psi....and 213 off 13psi.....but now a few months later im hitting airflow cut and have to bring it back to 10psi....go figure.... should be interesting....prob wont have the parts back on from my recent travels to stock town after the boys in blue hit me with an inspection....will see how the week goes....fingers crossed i can get her ready...

Hi all, if you have one lying around....or if you can lend the one on your car for a day, or even a few hours, just so that i can clear a defect.... it cant be cut either... need it either monday or wednesday... thanks heaps!!

fingers crossed u dont get one.... changed cat, catback, pod, boost controller....all passed. nothing was mentioned about fmic...until my defect wasnt cleared today....its ok to have a fmic....but you need emissions test.....so stuff that, back to stock.... now all i need is stock cooler....and piping....

confirmed numbers for first batch??? as in how many ppl are the first batch.....we need to set a number, or a date so that we dont sit around for ever waiting for ppl... 10?

safc was tuned 2 months ago... is there anyway to fix the problem? or is it just something i need to put up with....drop boost... what happens if i want a bigger turbo and make more power? say a hiflow for example....what would i have to do to resolve issue. ultimately i would like to fix the problem.... thanks!!

thanks for your help guys.... i havent had this before....i had a different 33, exact same car...making exact same power...same mods except for the safc.....would this problem be because the safc tune is making the car get close to the airflow cut which in contrast to no safc the airflows are not altered and not close to airflow cut? or am just way off??? also what gains are made from safc? just fuel economy or power gains? and if so to what extent.....because i dont pay for fuel so not an issue....and if i have to wind down boost then the marginal loss of untuned car. also what if i get the tuner to do a very emissions friendly tune, would it improve my situation....as in reduced airflow. cheers guys....new to this so appreciate your help!!

yeah thats the road i thought i had to go down.... but just got it tuned 2 months ago and was fine....then all of a sudden it started missing and cutting out.....replaced coils and fixed the miss.... thought safc would hold its tune for more then 2 months.... what can cause a safc to reset?

whoa....under priced to the max!!! whats wrong with it....if nothing then put the price up.... prob show better pics of roof to show damage... GL with sale....

def not coils as just replaced them....not missing.....it completely cuts out... stock turbo....but safc should help rather then hinder tho....more boost and power then stock, therefore need to tune ratios to match..... thoughts???
