  1. Mine is the Jap version of the Tein Super Street with pillow ball upper mounts (Part No. GSN62-B1SS3) and it is compatible with the EDFC (Part No. EDK05-12120).
  2. SKY 34, considered it but not too sure if it will affect the FR and RR brake bias and also whether it will clear the rims. BHDave, thanks for the input. Howie, as below:- 1) Dixcel HD - around Y24000 2) Dixcel HS - around Y38000 3) Project Mu Pure Plus 6 slit - around Y20000 4) Endless Straight 6 - around Y42000 The above excludes shipping from Japan.
  3. My front rotors are warped and I have given myself 2 options. Option 1 Bolt on a used brembo set from a BNR34 This is quite costly and I might have to deal with warped stock BNR34 rotors too. Option 2 Aftermarket replacement rotors For option 2, I have narrowed down my choices to the below:- 1) Dixcel HD 2) Dixcel HS 3) Project Mu Pure Plus 6 slit 4) Endless Straight 6 Are there any users/those in the know of the above here that can give comments/reviews? Many thanks in advance.
  4. Yea I'm gonna go for option 1 then. Just wondering with Option 1, will factory BNR34 brembo clear 'em rims.
  5. Currently looking at the Work Emotion XD9. Any idea will those clear? This is the 18×10.0JJ+18 version.
  6. With option 1, what sort of aftermarket brake kits can I fit in? The BNR34 ones will not fit in right?
  7. Am thinking between the below wheels to fit onto the R34 GTT. Option 1 FR - 18×8.0JJ+35 5H-114.3 (225/40) RR - 18×9.0JJ+38 5H-114.3 (255/35) Option 2 FR - 18×10.0JJ+18 5H-114.3 (265/35) RR - 18×10.0JJ+18 5H-114.3 (265/35) Will the above work well? Pro and cons of option 1 versus option 2?
  8. I'm not sure if the 4 door R34 GTT are any different BUT I would assume there's only 1 varient.
  9. Tein Super Street serves me well.
  10. Wokie. Noted on the rims. Have anyone here fitted R34 GTR brembo into his R34GTT? Wanna know if there are any complications or it's just a plug and play?
  11. Thanks! What is the specs of the ori R34GTR rims? Perhaps I can find an aftermarket as an alternative. Btw, I was told that the R34 GTR brembo is not a direct fit into the R34 GTT? Is that true?
  12. Will spacers help? Or a swap to a R34GTR rims do the trick? If I opt for aftermarket rims, what sort of offset should I be looking at to fit 'em brembo?
  13. Any idea can the R34 GTR brembo brakes fit behind the R34GTT stock rims?
  14. Can anyone help me wrt to clearance of the BNR34 OE Brembo brakes on the stock ER34 rims?
  15. In my case, more often than not. It's an adjust and forget case.
  16. Roy, yes I meant the calipers and rotors of the BNR34. 350Z version aren't the same?
  17. Anyone can help? What about the Z33 brakes? Direct fit?
  18. Can the BNR34 Brembo brakes (fr and rr) fit the ER34 with stock rims? Any other things to consider? Brake pump? etc...??? Any help appreciated.
  19. Ok the speakers went dead issue is partly solved. Think my amp has some problems and it was sent for repair already. BUT on the car going dead issue. It's still around. Some times, the electricals flicker a bit and came back alive. Just now as an experiment, I flash a couple of times, and the car seem to be drained of power. Everything went dead and flicker about. With the flash pro-longed, the engine went dead. I had to give the battery terminals a knock to be able to restart back the car. After restarting, I did the flash trick again and there's no difference. Damn what the f- - k is wrong with my car???
  20. Sumo, the fuse distribution block is a possible problem. I dunno for sure. nuffsaid, battery shouldn't cause that. And my car has no alarm.
  21. Just some update. Today more weird stuff happened. 1) On the way to work this morning. The speakers went dead. My headunit is still playing but there are no power to the amp and thus no sound from the speakers. Have yet to determined whether the amp is fried or the fuse is blown. 2) During noon time, similar thing as the above happened BUT this time the engine went dead. The first time, I'm idling at the lights and everything shut itself down. Give the car a crank and it restarted. Later it went dead again and I can't crank. Pop the hood and fiddle with the - terminal and are able to restart it. Am dead worried that the engine will go dead while I'm driving on the road. Anyway, just took a look at the terminal. With the engine on, I removed the - terminal. Engine still runs. Does that mean my alternator is a-ok and are charging as per normal? I cleaned the - terminal and tighten back both the + and - termimal and hope all is well. colgf, nope I did not wash the engine bay.
  22. I was quoted and told that there does not exist an Oil Cooler Kit for the ER34, only for the ECR33. Any idea about the above statement? And if it's correct, will all fit in nicely? Thanks.
  23. I had a weird experience on my ER34 yesterday night. While waiting at the lights, the electronics went dead. Headlights (taillight too I suppose), meter lights and the audio unit. It went dead for a second or two but the engine is still running. Afterwhich, everything gained back power and as per normal. My check engine and fasten seatbelt warning lights remain lighted for about 5 secs before turning off. This is really weird and worrisome. Am afraid that suddenly while driving everything went dead on me. The above happened twice yesterday nite.
  24. What is the difference between the below:- 1) Bar and plate intercooler 2) Tube and fin intercooler Thanks!
  25. Yea a bit overkill. I got really worried too when they took apart the whole thing. Yup, waited while they did it. Took them like perhaps 2 hours plus. But it was ok as I like to be around my car when someone work around it. I like to watch and ensure she is treated like a queen.
