hey mate once you have the intercooler sorted, i would say your next step should be finishing off the exaust. fit any 3" front/dump pipe and a high flow cat, as the stock ones are very restrictive.. you should feel the difference right away

Sorry i kno this is a bit of topic but are turbo timers legal to use on a car? i was under the impresion that they wernt as the car cannot be on without someone in it.. also from an insurance point of view you may not be paid out on a claim you make just a thort.. sorry for hijacking

Ahhh if I knew this I would have ordered one and taken it to the workshop already, was unsure of its reliability thats all. I already booked it in for tomorrow morning because I couldnt be bothered piss farting around anymore and I want my car back. gonna get the HD from the workshop.. will let u guys know how it goes sounds like a pretty decent clutch u've got dezz mlyf16 thanks for the info but like i said i cant be botthered anymore and its already booked anyway thanks guys

Yeh i looked through there and called a couple places, only i cant take the car to far as i will be towing it with my brother i got quoted from another place that use daiken and exedy HD, 900 for the HD Cluthes are really doing my head in, the cars being sitting in my driveway for over a month... i miss it im thinking of just goin to creatd and geting it done, unless anyone can recommend i get the slid HD instead??

hey all i just got a quote for a clutch, supply and install, from a reputable northern suburbs workshop. its for an r32, i asked for an HD one and the guy i spoke to quoted $745 i asked him what brand they use, and he said, for that one, they make their own clutch kit up with parts from extreme amoung others, so i said whats it rated to, he asked me is it for a gtr or gts, so i told him its for a gts-t and his response was oh should hold 250, up to 300, as long as you drive normal. so what do you guys think does this sound right or should i buy one off slide (HD 240rwkw) and get them to fit that one?? atm my cars pretty stock but i want to have the abillity to be able to run about 170-200kw, if one day i decide that i want a bit more

Apparently the Kudos kits with exedy pressure plate (pink thing) are rated to: stock replacment ~140 rwkw heavy duty ~ 180 rwkw im thinking i might aswell go the slide HD kit condidering they are rated to 240 rwkw but alot of people seem to think they dnt last as long because of the oem pressure plate ur guys' thoughts on this would be appreciated

hey sidd sounds good but was that for a rb20 or 25 how much power u making?? whats all this business about "get genuine exedy, with genuine pressure plate, bla bla bla.. the others dont last..."

are they really low 300's i was looking at getting it from kudos, proper exedy stock replacement was 330 delivered and the heavy duty was 430 delivered

yeh i know its pretty open ended but im currently in the process of changing my clutch and i just wanted to know if i should go for a stocker, or upgrade to a heavy duty item as im sort of on a budget thnx for the replys, keep em coming atm my car is stock apart from an exhaust - not sure if i wanna chase some power out of the rb20 or not

^^^As topic^^^ How much power (kw) can the stock clutch handle i kno there is no magical figure and it will be different for everyone but a rough estimate is all im after some knowlage from people with experience would be apreciated cheers
