sorry to revive old thread. but im in the same boat...my r33 seems to have factory tint (very light) and i want to remove it and re-tint darker at some stage. Is it worth removing the tint myself?? (just a bit worried about the rear window and the therm lines). I got quoted $120 xtra for removing tint.

Hi, When should you use a turbo timer? I have a turbo timer installed (standard car running standard boost) and i only use it when i give the car a bit of a thrashing. Normal driving i dont bother with turbo timer. is this wise? or should i always use it? cheers

Thanks for the replies kinks.. how is the switch held on...screwed on?? is it worth trying to play with it before buying a replacement?? will have a look when i have a chance to jack it up in light...thanks for your help

thanks for the replies ppl...... yep kinks after playing around i found im having the exact same problem as you described (reverse lights turn on only when holding gear lever left). Sounds like too much mucking around to get to it for my liking... easier with someone with a hoist! Do Nissan have to special order the switch or do they stock them? cheers

Hi All, New owner of a R33 which doesnt seem to have any reverse lights. I understand there is no fuse and the fact that both lights are out probably means its not bulbs? I was told that i should ensure that the switch going into the gearbox is correctly connected....havent had a chance to look, though can someone give me a heads up in terms of location of switch? ie drivers side, etc? thanks!

Hey All, While ive been a member a little while, Now that i am a very new R33 owner (4 hours and counting) I thought id say hello. Looks like ive upgraded from a VL and calaisturbo forum to an r33 and SAU !!!! either way look forward to being part of SAU and will thank everyone in advance for answering my stupid questions!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! -Max
