Can you read or not?? I have a permit meaning I can drive the car between the hours of 7am and 7pm since I stopped to pick up some parts for the r33 on the way back from the airshow I was driving under the conditions which the permit allows.. so how does that make me a clown???

Thanks guys I appreciated all the replies too date I have approx 3-5grand laid out for starting mods reckong this will be enough to net my 190kw mark?? I already have an exhaust on the way so thats fine, boost controller I have a crappy single stage so it will do for now.. So I figure next should be the front mount and some sort of aftermarket ecu.. Now my next questions Ive heard that with nearly all the front mounts the body of the car needs to be cut to fit piping with of course means mr plod doesnt like it..any options here?

Sorry Im a newbie ideally for my r33 gtst runnin a basic setup just for road use what would I need?? Struts, strut braces, springs, stabiliser bars?? did I need to go further into the camber and castor kits pineapples etc???

Hi Guys I just brought my first skyline an r33 gtst a few weeks ago.. IM lookign for some advice on modifications etc... ideally Im hoping for around 180-190kw atw however im sure as I say that once I achieve it ill want more.. Now this isnt my first turbo car so I have some idea of the work required. Modifications wise now the car currently doesnt have much has: 17" AVS Rims with 235/45 tyres up front and 255/40 on the rear Standard Exhaust (soon to be replaced with a full 3" system including split dump and hi flow cat.) POD Filter In Perspex Airbox Turbosmart Plumback BOV GFB Boost Controller running 10psi C's Short SHift Kit Now all this stuff was on the car when I brought it and my first modification will definately be the exhaust Now I have a few questions lol sorry about my essay. Will I require a larger turbo for these power figures or will a stock or hi flowed one be capable? IS a 3" zorst big enough? Producing that kind of power I dont really have to look at forged internals etc do I?? Im Hoping to Go aftermarket engine management in either the form of Wolf3d, Microtech or Haltech are these ok and can anyone make a better recommendation? Currently the car has a stock suspension setup I was lookign at coilovers but not sure of the practicability of them since the car will mostly be for street use..Will a decent strut, spring,sway bar, strut bar package be enough? And if so recommendations? Finally what else do I have to take into consideration when looking at this power and any other suggestion with parts etc?? Also and good tuning shops after spending most of the day down at RE Customs and having be there a few other times I liek their work and the way the guys look after the cars?

Thanks to Matt for organising and the rest of the skylines vic crew I really enjoyed myself and will be getting the car on the road with some plates ASAP..I missed out on a run cause I had to boot but must say there were some beautiful cars there and I got some great ideas for my 33... I must say you guys are heaps friendly, just ebing able to talk to you guys about all this stuff was awesome..Ive noticed in a few other clubs im part off people tend to just stand in groups of mates or whetevr and theres no interaction... Sorry guys this is for my r33 gtst I just brought should have been more specific not sure how the determine that my bro is a mechanic he ssid when the used to do them..they just showed a bit of cardboard a meter infront of the beam to make sure it was focused... wtf??? too abd he is in perth or Id have him doing all this lol.... With the turbo timer I was always under the assumption that if the turbo timer was wired into the park brake it was legal..??? also with the power sterring pump reckon a quick wipe around the pump and a couple of bottles of stop leak will fix it for now???

Hi guys I had my car roadworthied today they picked up a number of small and largish things that needed to be fixed just wondering how much some of it is going to cost. 1. Lost alarm (I fixed that already) 2. Loose Radiator Support (Fixed Too) 3. Turbo timers are illegal (???) 4. Power steering pump leaking 5. Tie rod boots cracked 6. headlights not aimed (how do I adjust these??) 7. Plumback BOV's are illegal??? Keepin in mind that this rwc was done at ford so they'd be strict..how many of these things can I probably get away with at your everyday mechanics?? Hey guys I was deegreasing my engine bay and hosing it out before my car goes in for roadworthy tomorrow.. I thought I covered up the important electricals but obviously not. Anyhow the car started first time I left the car wash and also started one other time however whilst driving I noticed the battery charge light come on. I pulled up and turned of the engine and then everything started to play up.. MY HICAS warnign light came on the charge light came on and the engine light came on?? And now the car wont start its turnign over like it would if it had a flat battery Any ideas what I got wet that I shouldnt have??
