  12. ok so here is how the events transpired yesterday. step one - reverse sexy skyline onto car ramps then thought i would have to remove the filler pipe from the tank here then realised thats crazy talk - all id have to do is remove this bolt where the filler pipe bolts to the car like so and rubber around filler hole just pushes out like so then undid the two straps holding tank like so then noticed wire going into boot pulling tight so thought i better open boot so yeah opened boot - plug is under that silver cover (also note here the little panel i could probably have done this job through if only i opened the boot BEFORE dropping the tank!) here we can see the wire going into the boot (vertical wire) and then the two pipes im replacing one fuel line going to engine and the other the return i assume (or maybe that third pipe i didn't touch is the return - ah who cares anyway) this is one of the old pipes and here it is with my fancy new ones old ones were 8mm but replaced it with 7.5mm since thats the closest thing superfags had
  13. nevermind - got it (will post pics here later)
  14. nevermind - got it didn't have to remove/undo filler pipe it jsut drops down with tank (just took out one bolt which was like an earth or something) will posts pics later for if anyone else has to do this in the future
  15. Hey guys, There are 2 rubber fuel lines going to and from the tank on my gtst. they are very old and brittle and need replacing NOW. (one started leaking - thats how i noticed) getting to the front of the pipes (where they go from rubber to matal) is easy as this is infront of the tank. hard part is the back as the pipes dissapear in above the tank. so.. has anyone ever dropped a tank down? it is just a matter of removing the filler pipe and then lowering the tank down onto stands by undoing the 'straps' that hold it? any advice appreciated *sigh wish i posted this earlier* Kind regards, Zennon
  16. stop being crazy steve ps. serious urgent question (which i doubt will get answered in time) how do i drop tank in a r32 (gtst) (need to replace the 2 fuel lines going to and coming from the tank) undo the filler pipe and then just slowly drop it down??
