Which link? my stars one? how about THIS? As for remotes - i bought THIS cheapy and it works and the quality is better than i expected. Have only tried normal photo's haven't tried doing bulb WITH the remote (can test tonight though)

yeah 30secs is max on my D80 but then its also got a "bulb" option which means as long as you hold button down shutter stays open

some nice pics guys siddr20 - not a bad effort - how long was shutter open for? you have a remote or how did you do it? what did you have the camera on? and most puzzling of all - how come the trails look like dots? (this one was with exposure: 59.1 sec so yours must have been aaaages)
