Can anyone tell me what hks evc 5 boost controlers are like? i have one on offer to solve my problems (hopefully)

Its a low friction joint it doesnt need to be packed with grease. Havent u ever looked at the cv joints connection a tractor to a slasher? most of them dont have rubber covers. Theres been alot in my local paper about thompson couplings as they are based in my town. I'm thinking about buying some shares, this company is about to go bigtime. When/If these become available for cars it will mean less drivetrain loss

mines mounted horizontal (laid flat) here....
shot is from under. and its more over to the passenger side. left part is front lip
max temp today was 85c which was driving for a long time with a fair bit of hard driving (i went bush)

re: windows. does anyone else suffer cracked windscreen's caus their car is stiff?
i have a half cage and mines been cracked for some time. from what i beleive is going in and out driveways

i've been away for a month, havnt been down to brads for a month or so.
i was with beau the other night when he was painting his front bar and i took off my exhaust and took it for a drive with just front pipe on. and it made a hell of a difference to my problems i am having! which i beleive is mostly boost controler related also.
also a f**ked muffler is contributing to my car bieng a slug..

isnt it better to slap it on the rear of a 4wd car rather than the front?
One of the guys in Adelaide i think shagged a front diff doing this...
thats what i did. put it on the rear.
tho now thinking about it all.
i probably could have put it on the front and removed the fuse for the attessa system

So i scored myself a screw in my semi's lastnite.
and went to put on my space saver. which leads to a shit sound and slight jerky driving. i take it off after about 10km to next servo where i buy that foam crap. which in the end doesnt work too well as i have more problem than just a screw, i couldnt put space saver on front as i thought it would cause similar problem to front diff
question bieng would have i scored any damage to diff? i thought it would be better to f**k a rear diff than the front. if it was to happen!

no its just a normal veilside not titanium..
and from what i know its not same sound having screamers as to just having exhaust out of front pipe.

While your doing your gearbox oil,
take your exhaust off, run your gtr right off the front pipe solves all your boosting problems and sounds........ evil!!!
the time has now come to scrap the veilside exhaust and fit my trust front/dump pipes and make a new straight through mufflerless exhaust.
next stop engine out!
it feels good to be home and driving on the right side of the road for a change

Enough "P Platers are evil" campagins please, do something about the car theifs, like say, tightening up the imigration laws to stop people who are going to break the law / become trouble and assigning more police on anti-autotheft?
Not saying all car theifs are imigrants and not saying all imigrants are criminals / trouble. But for the size of their population, they are very over-represented
Also doesnt help that 5 people of lebanese decent tried to carjack me through force and violence one night, that wound up in a high-speed car chase between me and them, with me winning and getting away in the end. Skews my opinion maybe? Who knows. I wouldnt be the only one out there who thinks that if we tightened up imigration laws 20 years ago wed have half the crime-rate we have now. There not 100% to blame tho, the countries they came from were such shitholes, thats how things were done over there. But thats not our problem, and thats not how its done over here, and if they cant understand that, they need to piss off.

2 Years, owning a 500hp(roughly) i can say your going to spend money!
i bought a pretty complete package from japan tho.
roll cage, 500hp turbos, oil coolers, straight cut dog box, just to name a few.
dog box was failed when it got here, yet still worked 1-4 gears.
replaced with standard box.... which was shagged already. and it broke eventually. but it was only a bandaid really
then 34 gtr box and its all smiles again!
Other than that its been a dream mechenically to own!
but expensive for sure! like with all turbo cars You will find it very very very hard not to want to push it a bit more and more and more and more!

Oh I forgot to mention another option, I just bought a stagea, $11k add say $1k for towbar and oil cooler and you have something a bit nicer than a foulcan to drive around

No you don't, you fill it up from the filler plug on the side of the box. If you fill it from the gearstick it will go in the transfer case!!

i've got my mind stuck on one car at the moment!
the pajero/ford(ewwww) maverick.
i like the 2 door (i can say in 5 years i havn't owned a car with more than 2 doors). they are 4.2L and i find a few are on dual fuel which is a bonus also! and hopefully i can find one like the one above with a bit of suspension work so i can take it off road.
hopefully vegas is good to me again this year!
