yeah i had this same prob with my family bout 7k ova a year, lesson well learned they never got a cent outa me after that. after a year of calling me this n that when i refused to give in they finally stopped asking. so now im a happy boy on the plus side i may have settled for a gts instead of holding out for what i truly wanted being my gtr when i had all that cash lying around. some people need a slap in the head my bro cranks out the visa card like tommorrow isnt coming and when i try n explain the interest part he dont wanna hear it but then bitches that he never has enough money. im an accountant i think its a good idea he listen. common rule never do buisness or lend major cash to family n friends. its a huge reason for family splits and life long friendships ending ... anyways back on the petrol what sh*ts me is the news cranking a story ensures the price will rise because people prepare to pay it and are more willing to accept the crap price. if the news didnt run the story i reckon it would be less likely to rise although nothing can really stop in the end.

Hey just thought id see if anyone has one and how much of a pain it is to get it registered as a classic. I have a dato which I want to eventually fully restore but its ugly as sin (though mechanically is just about perfect) I wanted to register it as a classic as that way it would be a lot cheaper and the restricted use of something like 2days a week wouldn’t bother me at all. The only thing is you need to be part of a classic car club which im a bit concerned about rolling up to join with my s box that still needs a lot of work. so if any of you have 1 wouldnt mind hearing what the go is.

thought id post this dribble here. about 6months ago i waiting for a friend at a car wash and a couple of kids come up and were getting all excited about my car. seen as i was the same at their age i showed them the engine and 1 said you should get a GODZILLA in there it'll go heaps quick. i said what are you talking about its a gtr it is godzilla then he said i should get a bigger 1 thanks for the advice kid. then last night she was blonde (not to mention good looking) so i cut her some slack got her taxi driver to gun it up to me and then slow down when i was trying to get this crazy taxi away from me and at 20ks in the 60zone asks me if i was driving a genuine r32 yes cause you would go to the effort of faking a car you could pick up for like 7k. next followed is it a real gtr, if someone went to the effort of putting on a gtr badge on their gts would they tell you its not a gtr.
