  1. Yeh she definitely was pretty aggro in 1st and 2nd that's for sure - now she's like that in all gears Those 2860's pretty much take over where the ceramics were just too restrictive. But yeh man, the only way that GT35 was gonna move the car with with some stalling/spiking
  2. And yer I'm down for that
  3. Yeh yeh...tell ya what man, those ceramics on 18 pounds would have given most v8's a decent run for their money at the lights eh?
  4. Tomorrow morning I will quite literally lay a golden nugget
  5. You just want me to put my GT35 back on so you can take me under lag....i'm still sober enough to see thru your cunning little plan haha
  6. I have a 1L bottle here with gold flakes in it
  7. You are a crazy mofo man I think you need to get your ass down to QR stat
  8. I'm offended
  9. Although that could be the vodka talking haha
  10. They *where* brand new Why the stall man? Can't you just put a manual in? ;-) If you put a manual in I'd seriously conscider making you an offer haha
  11. Yep but I'm keen for another one lol ;-) Whaa? Bro, you'll have no tires left with that...like....even less tires
  12. I'm keen for a spin in the A-bomb
  13. Haha ah it's all cool man
  14. Haha oh dear lol...ur a crazy man Nick
  15. You know Nick, I thought you and me had something....now I find out you sending your custard videos to at least 15 other men
  16. Oh yeh it's pretty good gear ;-) I just mean for your car Clint...you only want to run an extra 2-3 pounds yeh? That might be an extra 20 odd horses or so - hardly worth the expense of a Nistune because the stock ecu will happily dump a bit of extra fuel in for ya..
  17. Hmmm...interesting auto correct there SAU Well, we all know what word I'm thinking
  18. You broad minded person
  19. Just when I thought I was the only one who got it
  20. Yeh that was pretty random lol...so how many peeps did you send this to Nick?
  21. ^^ just saying that last bit because a lot of people underestimate the Nissan ECU. So many people (me included) will try to flash tune them, stick boards and chips in to them, nistune etc, only to wish they hadn't =/ From my experience I could almost advise to just stcik with your ECU until you upgrade injectors and what have you....the ECU is more than capable of controlling things until you max out injectors and airflow meters etc etc
  22. Haha yeh well it is one of the consumables on these cars - we all go through at least one of them during the time we own the car. But that all comes down to your driving style too Clint - some people inflict a lot of wear on them and some match rpms and what have you and wear the cluch much less - I try to heal toe where possible Haha yeh but it wasn't too bad mate - if you had been driving for longer we would have to have let the car sit for an hour or so before you can touch it. And as for the boost...I wouldn't worry about it hey, she's nicely set up to run an extra couple pounds. All the RB's will go up to their operating temps of 84-86 degrees or so as quickly as possible, open the thermostat, and then stay there regardless of boost when you're driving around normally. Obviously if you thrash it around a track for longer than 5-10mins or so she'll get hotter - but for everything else I wouldn't worry You always want your motor to heat up as quickly as possible (to operating temp) because that's where it runs best and is most efficient fuel wise. What sort of tune are you aiming for? You don't really need anything if you just want to run 2-3 extra pounds - the computer's fueling tables/maps will cover this extra air easily
  23. I always thought they weren't too bad - I know that mine was sprayed from factory with a rust retardent rubberised coat to the whole chassis. At first it looked like I ran over fresh road works but it's a rust protectant hehe. But, I'm not sure if all come with that or if it's just a certain part of Japan where they throw salt on the roads etc etc
  24. Thanks Clint - still a bit surprised at how much gear they stick on top of the Neo. Can see why a lot of people would go to a mechanic with a 34 just for something like a sparkplug change etc....interesting stuff, but she pulls nicely
  25. Oh I suppose I could tee something up ;-) Does she have some rust issues Ibrox? Lol Nick, i don't even know what to say to that haha
