  2. Thanks for your offer VQ35det but it looks like not event that might help at this stage. 89CAL - Will the power fc show where the problem is if I plug in a hand controller? Also is there any way that it can be related to the power steering leak?

Symptoms: Traction light is on, Slip light is on, Check Engine light is on Computer: Power FC no hand controller What I have tried: I have read up on line about the self diagnostics and am un able to get it to work by jumping the 2 spots on the diagnostic plug with a paper clip. I switch the ignition on and get the paperclip into the last 2 slots and nothing happens. Is this because I have a power FC? Can a leak in the power steering throw this problem? I have checked coil packs and replaced spark plugs. The car drives but is very sluggish

  5. No they are not the ones you have described. On the banjo bolt it has the following at the bast of the bolt copper washer then rubber washer then goes through power steering line then another rubber washer then bolted in. Is this how all Gtt's are on this? I will have to do double check the surface to check it's smooth. Any one have any other comments or suggestions
  6. R34 Gtt has a power steering leak. The leak is coming from the lower banjo bolt that has a hard line running off it too the power steering rack. It is just an occasional drip at the moment how ever when you hard lock the steering wheel it squirts out with high pressure. Both rubber washers on the banjo bolt were worn and broken. I have tried replacing the washers with copper ones and this didn't work I also replaced them with the same rubber washers that were originally on there and that didn't work. Any ideas?

  13. What do I need to do in order to fix the transfer case and are you 100% sure that it is this the gears change fine.
  14. Ok So I have a R32 GTR and I have just made a big mistake from what I can tell. So I have 2 cars a S14 and R32 GTR, While my S14 was getting work done on it i swaped the wheels so 2x S14 rims on the back and normal GTR ones on the from. I started driving and noticed that my Tourque meter was playing up and the cars power was going loopy cuting in and out and the tourque meter was testing in the middle and going up at slow speeds. Now reading a thread on here i have just relised that it was the cause of the problem and that I shouldn't have been swapping tyers around like that but now I have the problem that even with the 4 R32 GTR wheels on it that the tourque meter is still playing up not to mention I now have a stedy dripping from the middle of the car (gearbox area) I can not be sure where it is coming from though. So what have I broken and is it expencive to fix? Thanks all

  17. This S14 is a very neat and clean example of a S14. Originaly a Series 1, The car undertook a Series 2 full conversion (Front & Back) with the previouse owner. I brought a Uras Type S full body kit on it (Front Bar, Side Skirts, Rear bar) and Resprayed it all as well as the bonnet and boot lid due to scratches and stone chips. The car also had a mark on the door from some one keying it that has now been touched up. Sence coming out of respray I have been called overseas and now have no use for the car so it is in storage please not that in the photos the underplastics have not been fitted but will be upon sale of the car. Its a very well looked after Stock S14 with a body kit and S15 6speed for that smooth and reliable driveability.
