  1. Next one coming up for 19th Aug, delivery between 22nd-29th Aug estimated... quote sent...
  2. While driving to work (in my wife's RAV4) spotted a silver V35 coupe just like mine waiting on William St traffic light at the tramstop after Vic.Market. Not sure if that's the same V35 coupe I've been spotting recently around Dudley/King St & surrounding at some mornings? Not sure if
  3. Stephen - just need to know whether any supercharging on 5M-ATx transmission equipped cars need to have the autos strengthen. APS recommended 350Z's auto to be strengthen but that's their 500HP TT kit, while I prefer just go to a low psi SC kit for the sake of useable low down torque...
  4. will have to check. what car are you planning to put it on?

  6. anyone know VQ35DE specialist down in VIC?
  7. Sad to hear, but it's all for a good cause... Mirage's a fun little car... not all that bad. Taking advantage of Mitsubishi's usually huge depreciation value you should be able to find something in good condition for a great price! surprising you sold it so quick?
  8. Other option from RDA's stock is dodge or chevy size with 355mm rotors, but again the PCD on those american muscle cars are 5x100 Not a good fit either...
  9. According to this brochure: http://www.rdabrakes.com.au/downloads/RDA_...ke_Brochure.pdf Level 1 & 2 - 328mm which I don't think will give much benefit over std R34 GTR 324mm, although you get 325mm rear for level 2. Level 3 you get 343mm front and 328mm rear. still smaller than what most japanese brands are offering. Std R34 brembo should be good enough for club track days, add that slotted rotors onto it even in std size, they'll cool the rotors better during hard braking, reducing fades. Just make sure you get a good brake fluid as well that doesn't boil too quickly and it'll be good. Only if you start getting really serious then start considering a total upgrade. But again commodores PCD size is different, I believe so basically those packages may not fit without modification to the hubs. I think they're 5x120 - correct me if I'm wrong... ours Nissans are 5x114.3
  10. quote sent - chk your pm. I'll have to check what parts can fit if you wanna go bigger than 324mm/300mm, as not all rotors will fit onto Nissan's hub. RDA rotors are mainly OEM size rotors, with some big brake kits for HSV and even though there's been 'promise' for bbk for Nissan, until now the package haven't been finalised yet as it's not an easy task to decide what caliper they're gonna use, and what's the package cost gonna be by using certain parts. and i don't sell any adaptor plate at the moment if you want to go bigger. for such custom job, maybe talk to your local brake shop specialist as usually they can make custom plate adaptor to suit the rotors you're gonna use and how your caliper position changes after the upgrade, or to suit your custom caliper, ie F50 brembos etc?.
  11. Hi mate, I've got either slotted RDA rotors or gold finished grooved & dimpled. there's no caliper adaptor plate required as the size are OEM sizes unless you've changed your existing brake bigger than 324mm front & 300mm rear? What is the current brake rotor setup you have? stock or modified?
  12. gonna keep it for a while... might have quite some overtime work over the coming few months so an extra ride is handy... me n the mrs normally drive into the city together, then she finishes work first and drive home, leaving me at the mercy of connex's overcrowded trains...
  13. Update RDA Group Buy 34 order list: 1 Nick033 (payment cleared) 2 WYTSKY (payment cleared) 3 mischief32 (payment cleared) 4 nee-sanRB20 (payment cleared) 5 Norrissimo (waiting for payment to clear) 6 bnr#@ (payment cleared) 7 young34 (payment cleared) 8 _Wing_ (waiting for payment to clear)

  15. I know that. I didn't say Goshn draw the shapes / design himself. but if Goshn didn't become Nissan's boss, I believe the design direction of current Nissan models will be different than what we have now....
  16. Update RDA Group Buy 34 order list: - Nick033 (payment cleared) - WYTSKY (payment cleared) - mischief32 (payment cleared) - nee-sanRB20 (TBC) - young34 (TBC)
  17. anyone tried Bridgestone RE050A or the Adrenalin?
  18. LOL, I admit I hated V35 look when it first come out. the new styling is just not to everyone's taste. But after a while it could grow on you depending which direction your taste adapted through times. Carlos Goshn to Nissan is similar to Chris Bangle to BMW... even till now BMW enthusiasts are divided between loving and hating Bangle's new design lines...
  19. I believe all V35 engine, brakes, and suspension components will 100% fits onto 350Z as well, so just advertise on general for sale section to get more coverage, and also worth trying on eBay as there maybe V35 & 350Z owners out there that doesn't visit this forum.
  20. Update RDA Group Buy 34 order list: - Nick033 (payment cleared) - WYTSKY (payment cleared) - mischief32 (payment cleared) - nee-sanRB20 (TBC)
  21. LOL... thank's... wouldn't be much of a difference since the map is for Japan... maybe IF the car is converted into SuperGT contestant car and shipped back to Japan to compete in SuperGT 300 or 500 class! if that happens I'll make sure I'll leave the japanese NAV DVD-ROM on and tell the race engineer it's for a A/F ratio data recorder so they'll let it stay.
  22. It's not nearly sorted out.. it IS sorted out.
  23. Week 14 - 4th time lucky... This time it's a young bloke who's excited to hear that the new Skyline V35 is now here! Car is officially on the road... I guess it really takes someone who understand us when dealing with these cars... and he just accepts the faxed invoice from supplier without requiring my stat dec as proof of purchase... as apparently it was already enough, and I wouldn't have to go through all those troubles in the first 3 visits with the other ladies...!
  24. RDA Group Buy 34: - Nick033 (payment cleared) - WYTSKY (payment cleared)
  25. depending where u are, advance alloy repair is probably one of the best in melbourne area but the quote was like $350 a wheel due to the V35's factory chrome-like silver finish. i can't justify repairing all 4 rims at the moment. so i haven't done it and can't tell what the result is
