yes you will regret it but you wont regret being in a quiet car that you dont get hassled in sold my gtr (miss it everyday) and bought a beemer.. slow as a snail but very comfortable what you lose in power you will definitely gain in handling with the 4wd turbo. STi's are no slouches

yes i think thats how i got mine a while back. i leave for work early in the morning (7am) and while warming the car up, it wouldve certainly woken up a few people in our building and next door's from the rumbling and moan of the rb26 imagine getting that every weekday

yep sure is public can complain about the noise, enough complaints results to a notice being sent out to you. or a cop can note your rego down and send one out. sucks but thats life nowadays

lucky you found one, just remember that the gtst muffler will be quieter! (will need some cutting and rewelding to make it fit though, no biggie) if you havent already, these mob do great prices on shipping things over (www.transdirect.com.au) I went to granville so not sure how strict the campbelltown one is but its up to you where you take it

under 90db is definitely acheivable on a stock R33 GTR! here is what i went through a few years back now! http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/Ur...Gt-t192033.html ended up ebaying the whole system a few months back to a 33gtr owner for less than $50 !!! sorry I cant see the ad now. what i used? stock gtr front pipe, gtr cat, gtr pipes connected to a gtst muffler.. with a standard gtr muffler, it was over 91 or 92db good luck with it all mate ps. i went to Archers at Granville and he's a red neck fark... 3 of the cars he was moving outside while i was there waiting were all louder than what my gtr was! anything over 90.00000000db he will fail you!
