Hi all, I want to get some good splits for aound 500, can anyone suggest what brand/type? I took my car to my installer today to get a amp and sub put in and I told him I had alpine type r in the front and he grimaced at them. I ill put these as rear fill and get something better for the front.

As the topic says, I am after the spring mounts for a 33 gtst. Changing to SK's bilstein set up but my car came with blown HKS coilovers. If anyone can help me out plz call me on 0431171249 Cheers, matt. ps. Is that all I need when going from coilovers back to a conventional setup?

Hi all, I have a problem with black soot on my rear bar. It has always had a bit on the back, car is white, but has gotten worse since buying the car 6000km ago. I wash it take it for a 20min drive and it is covered again. I have had the AFR checked and they were supposedly spot on. The cat still seems to be working properly as it doesnt smell like raw fuel. What else could be causing this? It seems to do it worst when I take 2nd gear to the redline, I can visibly see the smoke out the back. Car is: 96 33GTS-t FMIC PFC Split dump to 3 1/2 after cat HKS Pod Bleed valve at 12psi Any suggestions would be appreciated, thanks.

Car is going well, just got through a rego inspection with nothing faulted, fitted up leighs r34 gtt rims, installed jim berry full monty clutch, Installed nice alpine HUD and splits. I am having a hard time tracking down a M Spec lip spoiler to replace the one that you trashed , will probably get an aftermarket bar. After that is a highflow and some injectors, want to be able to feather second while spinning

It seems as though it is a faulty pressure plate unforunately. Jim is sending a reeplacement down straight away.

Its still at the workshop, they are going to sort it for me. Why else would it slip?

Hi all, I just got a jim berry full monty clutch installed, the problem is that my clutch is still slipping, what could cause this? The previous clutch was still ok supposedly with plenty of meat still left on it but my throwout bearing was seized, hence the clutch change, previous clutch was an exedy 5 puck. When I was still driving on the old clutch the throwout bearing karked it ( started squeeling), then about 100km later the clutch started slipping, the throwout makes a squeeling noise. I thought the clutch was worn out but it isnt, what causes a clutch to slip if it still has meat on it? The workshop also machined the flywheel and bled the clutch system. I took the car to a reputable workshop in canberra so I am a bit worried that they dont know the answer. They said they would ring jim tonight to see what he thinks. So my question is why would a brand new clutch slip????? Will I need to get standard top and bottom spring seats for the front and back?

Hi all, I currently have hks coilovers in my R33 gts-t. I am sick of the very hard ride and i would like to install SK's suspension kit. I was wondering if I have to buy anything apart from the kit, for example standard struts because these have been replaced with the coilovers. Thanks.
